I've always thought that the Bluecoats have the best drumline and Carolina Crown has the best horn line.

SCV's tenor line is absolute god tier
I think Roger tried to write in every known rudiment and combo and this show. And they are performing it amazingly clean with all the transitions and style changes... and this was in JUNE! Wowza, Coats are bringing it this year. SCV is gonna have to work hard to get that drum title.

Edit: Haha YES! I love the choreo ideas demonstrated these days. Everyone hates them but it adds flair and uniformity in unique ways that for some people are somehow a hard pill to swallow. "Back in my day, we put our feet in wet concrete so we stayed in place, goddamnit!"

Snareline, Bassline: God Bless You. Tenorline: Get Your Lives Together. I havent seen a good tenorline on the bluecoats (with hard music) since 2016 like :(((
we sure do love comment techs. idk what you're on about, the tenorline this year is on fire
tbh? they sound great for sure, but i'm kinda thrown by the "best" comments. there's a lot of great drumlines right now, and i'd definitely say this is not really the most impressive in demand. dont knock bloo, but also i think give everyone credit where credit is due, its a pretty even playing field rn.

Nothing more than WGI on a football field. They should drop DCI off the name all together.
There must be a lot of tacet time to hold props and dance to make to visual freaks happy.
All the music sounds the same.Its all metric modulations. No accent development.
Kay Mauer you need to clean out those ears of yours my guy... there’s actually a ton of accent development and even if there wasn’t, the metric modulations they’re pulling off are absolutely insane at some moments.
I suppose the visual design freaks will have them removing clothes and dancing soon. Why bother to play the drums when you can titillate visual judges by wagging your butt? The drum parts do not develop. It is orchestra garbage done faster. And you wonder why only 30+ corps are left……..

@@gusg.2589 I dont feel about it. I see it think about it then realize these kids today have been sacrificed for the visual staffs. They cant play cause their vocabulary has been reduce to run around. They are playing simple orchestra parts fast. So what? The kids from Blew Coates Taylor McBride says he can kick my ass. He won't meet and from the simple street beat he sent me he cant play much either.
