Somebody should have told these people at some point that they need to work. If they can work then we will help you find a place to live. If they can't work then we will try to find you help. Either way the answer was never that we will allow you to occupy public areas and make our neighborhood green areas and sidewalks nto shanty towns.
Are we just going to ignore the cost of housing in SF, and how a full time minimum wage worker comes nowhere close to the x3 rent required to get even the cheapest studios/1 bedrooms in the city? If I had to figure out how to make it happen in SF I to would be homeless.
@@kevinsouza7744 Regardless, being expensive is no excuse to tolerate a shanty encampment. Let's be real, you can't expect the govt to live your life for you. If it's too expensive go elsewhere.
@@borisquince6302 I am not encouraging shanty encampments, I am simply saying you reap what you sow. The results of having absurdly high rent is a high homeless population. Get used to it and enjoy it while its not that big of a problem, because it's going to get much worse.
@@kevinsouza7744 Well the public can only tolerate it for so long. Already people are getting tired and pressure is mounting on the cities to boot them out. It's unsustainable and can't last. As for high rents, it's artificially created, especially in SF and LA. Getting permits to build decent mass housing is akin to putting a man on the moon. So as always happens, the poor will leave, it's sad yes, but that's life, no one promised you an easy life, move and find work and a living elsewhere.
Im too brutal for RUclips. Im just gonna say please help this person and all those living on the street. Im about 10 years older than this person. So I need to be a lot more responsible with how I feel about the homeless. I could say some messed up chit but that wont help. The bottle though. Wow.
Homeless people, in their GREED, always pick the best places, the nicest parks and the busiest roadways on which to camp. The entitlement is THICK with these undesirables. It was their GREED which caused most of them to be homeless in the first place. They are the people who refused to do chores as children and their parents gave up trying. They were also GREEDY for wanting to reach pleasant states of mind by using shortcuts. Normal people work hard and expend effort to feel good through wholesome activities. These fools all took shortcuts to euphoric states of mind by taking drugs, and now it is costing them dearly. All of their problems comes down to GREED and a lack of motivation to put forth EFFORT in order to acquire nice things and pleasant states of mind.
all these empty apartments and houses and ppl in cars or out on the streets because rents to fricken high! WTF IS WRONG WITH OUR SYSTEM?! 😡 CRIME IS ON THE RISE! TF MAN?! 😖
Why are these people not on disability they clearly have issues we have no problem spending Millions on stuff we don't need but when it comes to our people we turn our back on them why
Migrants get free housing and healthcare while creative citizens of the USA are abandoned into homeless camps. I implore Governor Newsom to provide immediate housing and financial aid.
