The Parsi community, which follows Zoroastrianism, has a complex and nuanced tradition when it comes to marriage. While it's not entirely accurate to say that Parsis "marry their sisters," there is a tradition of endogamy, or marrying within the community. In the past, Parsis did practice a form of endogamy called "sagdid," which involved marrying within the same family or clan. This practice was more common in the past, particularly among the priestly classes. However, it's essential to note that: 1. _Sagdid is not the same as sibling marriage:_ While sagdid involves marrying within the same family or clan, it does not necessarily mean marrying a sibling. 2. _The practice is declining:_ In modern times, the practice of sagdid has declined significantly, and many Parsis now marry outside of their family or clan. 3. _Reform and modernization:_ The Parsi community has undergone significant reforms and modernization, and many Parsis now reject the practice of sagdid as outdated and unnecessary. In summary, while the Parsi community has a tradition of endogamy, it's not entirely accurate to say that Parsis "marry their sisters." The practice of sagdid is complex and nuanced, and it's essential to approach this topic with sensitivity and respect for the Parsi community's traditions and values.

Please rectify your information. In Zoroastrian tradition, Sagdid (from the Avestan words for "dog's gaze") is a funeral ritual in which a dog-preferably one with two spots above its eyes, sometimes called a "four-eyed" dog-is brought into the presence of a deceased body. The belief is that the dog’s gaze has the power to ward off evil influences (particularly the demon of decay, known as Nasu) and to ensure the spirit of the deceased remains protected during funeral rites. Also the dog is known to have the sense of detecting any trace of life in a body. Therefore Sagdid ensures that the person is really dead and not just clinically.
But during ancient times Zoroastrians did marry their siblings. It's a historical fact. That's one of the reasons cited by islamists who invaded Iran and persecuted Zoroastrians for this very reason!
@@clifforddesa Islamists also cite another reason for invading Iran i.e. because they worshipped fire, another excuse to plunder the rich Persian Empire. Such reasons have no factual background, except for justification of their atrocities.

More than that, is the claim that it would be preserved. Remember this is before the printing press, and at this time period most people in the world couldn’t read or write. To make a claim that your book would be preserved until the end of the world is a very big claim to make. There are many religions that pop up and make claims, but most of them are soon destroyed and gone. If Islam was a false religion made by a false Prophet, wouldn’t it be more likely to have been destroyed and lost rather than be preserved. Consider the other major religions of the world, Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism. These religions have their own ancient texts. Have they been preserved as the Quran has been? Do these religions have millions of people, some as young as 8 years old, who have memorized the whole book?
Before all other religions there was Islam, not Zorastrian. The first creation of human created by God was Adam who was a Muslim. The meaning of the word Islam means obedience to the one Supreme God, Allah. And Adam bowed down to Allah obeyed His commands, so Islam was the first religions of man.
If Allah (God) did not exist then you and I and entire universe would not have existed because He is the Creater of the heavens and earth and all that is in it above it and below it. The laws of justice and equality etc are all from Him which His Prophets ( messengers )convey to us. Evil men then make laws to contradict God laws of justice equality for their own selfish agenda to rule over others

So bro you are unlucky for being able to see Him on that final Great Day .
You said they are charitable. The Parsis in Sri Lanka are only abut 10 or 15 in number. However they own a parsi cemetery in Colombo wich is several acres. Adjoin this is a small Muslim cemetery. The Muslim population is several millions. So if this kind and good charitable Sri Lankan Parsis could allow Muslims to Bury their dead in this parsi cemetery ALLMIGHTY GOD WILL BLESS THEIR ANCESTORS WHO DONATED THIS CEMETERY PROPERTY.
So if the Muslim keeps overpopulating due to polygamy and multiplying 3x the other communities, is it the responsibility of the successful parsis to donate land to the Muslims for free? Why don't your clerics ask for donations from the Saud family?

Parsis do not marry siblings. Consanguinity is there due to very small population. But, sibling or cousin marriage does not exist in Parsis.
