Commissioner Kadri Simson highlights the role of Flexible Demand at smartEn's 100-member celebration

The last few years have been a whirlwind for the energy sector. smartEn has worked closely with policymakers, and to have the role of flexible demand recognised by the EU institutions is one of our proudest moments.
Recently, we were honored to welcome Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson at our gala celebration of reaching 100 members. Her presence and acknowledgment underscore the importance of flexible demand, which is now at the forefront of EU policies and continues to gain momentum.
Our cooperation with the Commission during the previous mandate has been pivotal, and we are eager to continue this partnership as we move into the new EU legislature for 2024-2029.
