Welcome back to another episode, in this episode we're bringing you what we consider one of the best interior designs we've come across!
Christelle, the owner & interior designer, of this home sought to incorporate various design styles into the four-story house with six ensuite bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Throughout the entire house, solid concrete was used and featured as accent walls.
The project was a true "labor of love" for the designer, who navigated towards a blend of tropical luxury and Japandi aesthetics, combining Japanese and Scandinavian influences. Although minimalism wasn't the chosen path, a zen color palette was adopted, and the designer incorporated an array of luxurious textures like tinted mirrors, marble flooring, walls, and countertops. Every design element was carefully included in the Mansion to ensure that each client could find their preferred space within the home.
Attention to detail was paramount in every corner of the house, with carefully curated artwork and a focus on creating a home that would stand the test of time. The design deviated from conventional approaches, as the interior designer aimed to create a unique and personal story for her home. Inspired by the changing seasons and their emotions, she envisioned the poetic novel of rain on glass doors and the wind gently blowing linen curtains, and she was determined to bring that vision to life.
During winter, the family retreats to the movie room in the basement for hibernation. The guest bedroom is a testament to the designer's affection for Mediterranean design, where a soft yet robust bar with arches represents the harmony of softness and strength, symbolizing her husband. The home truly becomes a reflection of the designer's essence and personality.
