How about this valve could automatically (bistable) redirect the air to a secondary aerator higher up in the thank and give a warning signal by way of a switch (visual/audible alarm)
Great invention, but you didn't explain how to test the system to know how much back pressure is present, as you said you would at the beginning of the video when you said "...I've designed a safety valve that will both test your aeration system and protect your air pump..."
He did explain. It’s obviously testing “too much” back pressure and over 2.8 PSI if air is venting through the valve so yes, it’s testing the system. If it’s venting air you have a clogged line and the pump isn’t operating at capacity and in fact is under stress. The line needs to be cleared or serviced prior to the pump eventually overheating I assume.
