Honestly him being a collab unit is one big reason to not get him. Adding in the fact that he is so tightly squeezed with Sadali and Exia is another negative.
Isnt it like underselling his value since gilgamesh is still considered the strongest unit in the game atm, his barrier and courage seal gives sephiroth problems taking him down in mono fire teams. I think his value of blowing up those pesky gilgameshes while being competent against other meta teams is worthy of spending vis for him..
If you have the visiore to pull him I don't disagree! But we're already seeing downward shifts and trends of Gilgamesh for a variety of balance reasons, and in a month or two I think it will be much less of a problem overall. So just weighing the pros and cons of the short term need vs the long term return. If Exia wasn't immediately coming out I might feel differently. But to me it's like.... great you pulled Crimson Wizard to counter Gilgamesh, but next month your shiny new Crimson Wizard is getting damage capped vs Exia.
