Took my kids to see this masterpiece in 2019...omg..I felt like a little kid all over again...brought so much excitement and joy to see this with my kids as they only watched it on video or social media...they were able to see it live at Disneyland..loved it ❤❤❤
Even though I have the audio of this on cassette tape I don't remember actually seeing this in person. The final year was 1996 (20 years ago) and I was under 10 years of age so it would make sense that I don't remember seeing this. Thank you for uploading this amazing video!
I can't remember if I worked this night of taping, but I can name many of the performers 30 years later. At least one person I recognize STILL works there in 2019.
when we loaned out 3 of the floats (Dwarf Mine & Both Pleasure Island floats) to Paris, did they get to choose which floats they wanted from us? I think it was kinda odd splitting up the Diamond Mine section between Florida & Paris.

But then again, I don't see how it could be possible to incorporate those character into something as fancy as this, but if anyone can do it, Disney can. Please, Disney, bring Big Hero 6 into the park so it's presence can be expanded.
I miss Honor to America float, it's way batter then the its a small world float, as a matter of fact I miss the old classic of the main street electrical parade
This is the parade I saw in 1996. Was this video taken from the VHS videos could buy from the Disneyland shops? There was a video you could purchase showing a day at Disneyland with highlights of all the rides and one that showed the Electric parade.
the new one has some neat things, but the music is just...crap in my opinion. had the 72 to o6 version had the technology the new one has now, it would have been mindblowing

Saw this at Disneyland Paris in 1993 and 1994 - happy memories - was only 5 (my mum filmed it) even had the same music.

I'm sure it will although the soundtrack being used will be the one that was first heard on the west coast as of June 2009.
