I love the aviary tours! Is there instructions anywhere on how to build the ponds like that? I would love to put some in for my Mandarins

I don't understand why there is that huge beautiful pond, yet the ducks are kept in an aviary with a couple of small square water containers? I would clip the birds wings and let them live on the big pond and then lock them back in the aviary at night so they are safe from predators.

Clip their wings and throw them on a pond and they will be killed by predators within days.

Jason, You don't keep wild birds do you? They don't "herd" like domestic ducks and locking them up at night is not do-able. And as mentioned, they would be taken out by hawks and other predators too easily due to their inability to fly and escape.
