Just stunning work. Lots of other radio comedies from the time were okay too, Round the Horne had some great bits from Jon Pertwee, for example.
I remember watching the X Factor years ago and seeing that crazy voice person as well those two whom thought they could sing ..so thanks Amanda for putting this on x
The Andy Capp in German question on the Chase is my favourite on this video, it had me in tears of laughter. I'd love to see you react to some of Only Fools and Horses best bits, best British comedy ever in my humble opinion :)

@@LADYRAEUK I don't know how many of them would work without context. There were moments in the old Robin Of Sherwood series that redefined the way the story was told (most versions since have included a Saracen in the merry men), but they don't work in clip form. The first lesbian kiss in Brookside is historic, the first million pound winner of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is maybe less memorable than the bits that Chris Tarrant did which were copied worldwide... Drop The Dead Donkey was a remarkable show in that they shot I think up to the day before transmission so the characters in newsroom could make topical references, but how do you explain a joke in a clip that referred to a small story from 25 years ago +? Sadly, what you get with these 'iconic' videos is a lot of car crash clickbait. The best way to react to iconic TV would be to watch a whole episode and then give thoughts about what worked well or not, but editing those is a whole load of faff I'd imagine and much less immediate. With that said, there might be a good set of clips about Damien Day from Drop The Dead Donkey - his running gags were generally about unethical things he did to get a better shot in his news reports. Sadly I've only found isolated scenes rather than a collection of them
There are many more examples of Bradley Walsh cracking up with laughter on The Chase, there must be a video of the best of them on here, this video wasn't long enough, you must do more of these!
I simply love Amanda's laugh. Only heard it for the first time a few hours ago and just can't get away from it. Very infectious! Oh and Amanda if you're reading - we recently lost Sean Lock - look him up (especially the vs Jimmy Carr bit with "Bring back the Nazi's" - no seriously, its funny, not evil) - and pretty much anything with Jonny Vegas (panel shows and stand up, not sit-com). You'll probably like Sara Pascoe as well... If you want more recs, just ask, I have.... well... lots.... As a parting shot... Del Boy falling through the bar...... THATS iconic. Helps that my friend did exactly the same in the late 90's.... On the opening night of a totally packed pub. Damn that was funny.
The Elephant shitting all over the studio floor and his keeper slipping over in it during the live broadcast of kids tv show Blue Peter back in the 1960's was surely an iconic moment in British tv history, as was big breasted, Erika Roe's famous topless streak at Twickenham during live tv coverage of a Rugby match in the 1980"s. Both available to watch on RUclips
2007-2009 X-Factor was truly insane. Sadly that Ariel took her own life almost two years ago. There's probably a few compilations still kicking around of that particular era with all the singing cats, well worth a giggle over!
Look for something like "Best of Bradley Walsh on The Chase", there's been some great moments where the producers are obviously trying to crack him up!

There are several "The Chase - The Bloopers" videos around, worth watching. An earlier comment to mine mentions The Goon Show - there may be "The Last Goon Show of All"? And we have had, over the decades, so many funny people on TV - Ken Dodd / Bob Monkhouse / Morecambe and Wise / Kenneth Williams / Les Dawson / Victoria Wood / Tommy Cooper...all worth checking out. Morecambe and Wise with "Andrew Preview" is pretty much timeless.

Definitely the Chase one with Willi Wakker was the funniest. The Chase has a lot of funny questions like that and Bradley Walsh's reactions makes it even funnier
Iconic TV is Queen at Live Aid, or the final black in the Taylor/Davis match, Wade winning Wimbledon, or the funny walks from Monty Python. It is not a load of clips from reality shows that no-one cares about.
Sadly Ariel X Factor contestant from Leeds lay undiscovered in bed for days after taking her own life, an inquest has heard. Ariel Burdett died by suicide aged 38 at her Leeds home on November 12, 2019
You should do a react vid to British comedy shows. Shows like Inbetweeners, Him and Her, Red Dwarf, The IT Crowd, Peep Show, Spaced, The Royal Family, and The League Of Gentlemen. There are some funny older British comedy shows too like Rising Damp, and Till Death Do Us Part and In Sickness and In Health.
I love Katie Hopkins. Someone needs to be honest with you, even if it offends you. She's taken a hit in order to express the truth to those who need to hear it. At the very least appreciate that she can dish it out and unlike most people can take it too.
Poor old Bradley, I think the compilers of the questions do it on purpose to get him laughing and embarrassed at reading them out. There was another one with a German name, a skier, Fanny Schemeller.
A great reaction would be to an episode of “Come Outside”. It was an iconic British TV show which was made from 1993-1997 but continued to be aired right up to 2012; so literally educated generations of children. They all follow a similar format, but some Aren’t as interesting as others, might I suggest “Boots” or “toothpaste” or “bread” as these feature interesting industrial processes. Despite being a show for pre-schoolers, you can learn a bit from an episode.

I'm surprised a certain German skier wasn't on that , I was actually watching and it's never to be forgotten .
Thanks so much for the suggestions :) I really appreciate it
bradly walsh - the chase - fanny schmelling - he falls apart 🤣
The Elephant shitting all over the studio floor and his keeper slipping over in it during the live broadcast of kids tv show Blue Peter back in the 1960's was surely an iconic moment in British tv history, as was big breasted, Erika Roe's famous topless streak at Twickenham during live tv coverage of a Rugby match in the 1980"s. Both available to watch on RUclips
the turtle and the slug lmao classic 🤣🐢💨
🤣🤣
I could think of a million more iconic moments than this.
I love your reactions subscribed
Thank you 😊
2007-2009 X-Factor was truly insane.
I’ll see what I can find 😊👍🏻
She has the most beautiful voice.
Thank you 😊
Sorry this probably is the wrong forum for this but I have watched a few of your videos and I’ve got to say I just live your manner and voice. You are born to commentate on whatever media forum you choose. I’m totally hooked by it.
Si
I really enjoying making videos so thank you, I really appreciate that. 😊
In memory of Sean Lock you should do a reaction to some of his best moments on cats does countdown
Great idea 😊👍🏻
Sean Locke nazi Island or rectum of the year! A comedic legend that I already miss🥲
The question makers on the chase like to set Bradley Walsh up with questions that have risqué answers , they know he will loose it
Brilliant 🤣
Fanny Chmelar!
That girl ariel when she says ma voice can do a lot all I could think..
Is one of them talk shit
And now a can't stop laughing😂😂
Great upload again ... your expressions are priceless Amanda ☺ ... would you ever consider doing a TV talent or quiz show ? (or have you done one and had to flee the US to UK because of it !!😂... joking ! )
I reckon their family and friends encourage them to enter. They must’ve said, you both are fantastic together and they believed them 😂
Chase is brilliant gameshow I watch it nearly every week day
TV’s most iconically cringey moments! The German names for Andy Capp was the best! Anything translated from English to German and comes out as an innuendo cracks me up. Watch a few episodes of “Allo ,Allo” they have great fun making innuendo out of everything.
Lol! I’ll check it out😊
Like Fanny Schmeller
@@luvstellauk 😂
I could listen to your soft, sexy soothing voice all day Amanda!! That little snort when you laugh sometimes is soo cute. 🥰 Great video mate 👍🏻 RIP Sean Lock 😢
Mate settle down she's taken 😂
The Chase has produced some great moments. The Fanny Schmeller one is one to look up too
Try an on bike Isle of Man TT for a great TV experience
Hi Amanda - I give in I have finally subscribed having watched so man6 of your videos - keep them coming, I love the way you say Hi It’s Amanda - always identical!
Haha I’m glad you finally caved 🤣
Hope you’re having a lovely week!😊
How great is your voice, laugh, tattoos 😍🥰🤨 everything 🥴🤦
Thanks very much😊
Hi Amanda. Only fools and horses chandelier dropping moment is one of the most iconic British tv moments.
Definitely the Chase one with Willi Wakker was the funniest. The Chase has a lot of funny questions like that and Bradley Walsh's reactions makes it even funnier
🤣👍🏻👍🏻
I actually agree with the crazy screaming lady to be fair. 😂
Have you tried to watch the scene where Del Boy falls through the Bar, or the one where he is removing the Chandelier?
Yep! 😊👍🏻
part 2!!!!
Check out an older show called "Are You Being Served". Great show.
👍🏻👍🏻
Iconic TV is Queen at Live Aid, or the final black in the Taylor/Davis match, Wade winning Wimbledon, or the funny walks from Monty Python. It is not a load of clips from reality shows that no-one cares about.
The Chase is simply the best game show ever, you watch it 51 out of 52 weeks to see Brad loose it once
🤣👍🏻
@@LADYRAEUK it’s just so British
Sadly Ariel X Factor contestant from Leeds lay undiscovered in bed for days after taking her own life, an inquest has heard. Ariel Burdett died by suicide aged 38 at her Leeds home on November 12, 2019
If this first one is an iconic TV moment gawd help us!
Sean Lock took subtlety to a whole new level, but wasn't crass or vulgar, talent gone too soon.
Please please please 🙏 do an audio book, you have the most amazing voice x
Thank you 😊
I LIKE THE BENNY HILL SHOW IS THAT ICONIC:))
I love Katie Hopkins. Someone needs to be honest with you, even if it offends you. She's taken a hit in order to express the truth to those who need to hear it. At the very least appreciate that she can dish it out and unlike most people can take it too.
I'd love to hear your reaction to the top moments from Blackadder, which definitely a very British comedy.
She speaks the truth many people find that offensive.
U probably have a ton of recommendations but can I add one. Best of Stephen fry in black adder. You will love it. Cool content 👍
thanks for the suggestion! :)
It has to be Bradley Walsh with Willy Wakker - you have to dig out his Fanny Schmeller clip!
Poor old Bradley, I think the compilers of the questions do it on purpose to get him laughing and embarrassed at reading them out. There was another one with a German name, a skier, Fanny Schemeller.
You need to watch “The Detectorists”, written by and starring Macaulay Crook. A gentle but very funny show. BBC i Player
Yeah Bradley kept it together better than when the question was about Fanny Schmeller lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
A great reaction would be to an episode of “Come Outside”. It was an iconic British TV show which was made from 1993-1997 but continued to be aired right up to 2012; so literally educated generations of children.
They all follow a similar format, but some Aren’t as interesting as others, might I suggest “Boots” or “toothpaste” or “bread” as these feature interesting industrial processes. Despite being a show for pre-schoolers, you can learn a bit from an episode.
May I say I love your videos and look foward to each with wonder.I know youre from the good old U S of A but what part???Thank you once again xxxx
thank you so much :)
I'm from pennsylvania
@@LADYRAEUK That is ok Amanda, youre doing some really good stuff needs to be seen by a wider audience maybe you could get the Tv or radio stations interested xx
Take a look at the chase/ fanny schmeller German athlete 😂😂😂
I have never seen the clip with Katie Hopkins. The woman should have known what to expect when approached for Celebrity Juice. And it was deserved.
Yep! 👍🏻👍🏻
Perhaps for the next one find iconic moments from classic british tv shows (not reality shows) as there are some fantastic classics out there. The bar scene from only fools and horses comes to mind. (and the batman and robin bit, and.. well, you could probably do an entire one with just only fools and horses but still..)
I agree - lots of hilarious moments in Only Fools. I think there is a top 10 or 20 best Only Fools moments somewhere on YT. And we all know how iconic this sitcom was
Amanda, as a sucker for Scottish accents I can highly recommend any of Kevin bridges' stand ups, especially there one where he gets mugged in Edinburgh... it's hilarious... I think I'm going to watch it now for the 600th time or so...
It shows on RUclips under the title Besdt stand up comedy ever... Kevin Bridges...
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
