This analysis is much better than so called pundits on ESPN. When you hear Alice, you can tell she has actually seen the game unlike the pundits of ESPN and sky sports. I really wait for her videos after Arsenal’s game.
You are right, I never listen to so-called pundits on those channels, I'll always go to the people I follow on RUclips - its much more in depth and unbiased. There is always an agenda when it comes to Arsenal.
I still can't figure out why a dyed-in-the-wool ManUre fan can analyze the Arsenal better than any of the Gunner pundits. It's uncanny how she can properly break down a match and get it posted on RUclips before the echos of the final whistle fade away from our ears!! Big ups, Alice!!! You get my "supporters' clap" for today!
I think Arteta is more comfortable with Nwaneri in Prem games on the right as his defensive responsibilities replacing Saka is less than replacing Odegaard in the middle. He will have the sideline to help him and he won’t have to lead the press.
Nwaneri needs to develop physically. I don't think he'll reach the physical levels of Saka where he can be bumped and kicked by heavier defenders but still maintain his balance. Saka never ceases to amaze me how frail he looks, but he's strong as a bull in possession
@@preferredstock9338 I agree. A couple times he was getting bodied off the ball by the left back- where Saka would just ride it. But hes only 17. He will grow stronger.
I am first of all very surprised and impressed with the performance and win, didn't expect it AWAY to Brentford Arteta still gets many things wrong, I am a big Kai Havertz fan but maybe his absence today was a blessing cause I am not sure Nwaneri would have started the match and CLEARLY he should cover for Saka at the moment. But Problem REMAINS Arteta.
Happy New Year Alice! Your analysis was on point!... Arsenal's Hale End Academy is bearing fruit!!.. Per Mertesacker, Manager of the Arsenal Academy is a silent success equivalent to the mechanics of German cars! "Vorsprung durch Technik" - "progress through technology". Max Downman is the next special talent breaking through!
Nwaneri as a false 9 could be insane in the long term. Not saying he will be as good as him but he gives off heavy Messi brought up playing London streetball vibes
Happy New Year Alice, all the best with your plans and goals for 2025. Thanks for the analysis. I will say though; as good as Nwaneri was in today's game, one could also see the areas in which he still needs more growth and experience. But considering he is only 17, the potential for what further developement will produce in him is something fans can anticipate with excitement.
From the Partey shout- to knowing Martinelli’s form and his amazing 22/23 season and highlighting how good/exciting Ethan is, you hit it out the park with this video like you usually do alice! Your knowledge is top-tier and you lead the way with unbiased quality content. Cheers 🫡
we are at last ok even without some of our key players like Saka...Rice and Hawatrz also on the bench...beauty of the game and the potential to win maintained throughout the game
The lad is very good. I remember when Lewis Miley came into our team last year because of injury. The lad is going to be something special And no I am not comparing the 2 in style, only that injury has pushed him up the pecking order
He is, Nwaneri & Lewis Skelly breaking into the first team & starting PL games for us is great to see in what's been a bit of an injury cursed season so far.
I agree, especially, with your last point. We are not a real threat on the counter. Our lads are superior to many technically, and we are extremely solid defensively. But, this has come at the cost of our transition/counterattack play.
To be candid, you were not wrong. Arteta only started playing MLS because virtually all the regular LBs were out injured. He had no choice. In the last game he played Martinelli on the right wing and we all saw how abysmal it turned out. I guess that's why today he had no choice than start the lad. I bet if Kai was available today, Nwaneri would never have started.
Thanks again Alice. Another top notch piece of analysis. You are in the top 2 girl. Absolutely fluid detailed appraisal of the game and the protagonists. Just subscribed. Happy New year!
As an Arsenal fan I like your videos and yes a good performance but I thought it might have been a draw tonight, hope Manchester United can produce a shocker and beat Liverpool but you did beat City so maybe if Liverpool get complacent and underestimate Manchester City they may get something but I think Manchester United may step up seeing there backs are against the well but fingers crossed 🤞 Happy New Year 🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉
Wonder what Chido must now be thinking in watching other AFC youth levels players now in the main squad, whilst there's a chance he could be with a team next season in the championship 🤔
Someone mentioned in X that Ethan Nwaneri is looking more dangerous than Buyako Saka low key. Based on that game, I can say he's right! 2 goal involvements and just pure threat everytime he's on the ball, wait till he gets into those positions inside the box, his finishing has been clinical all season.
Last season we said the same thing "Liverpool's attack looks far better than yours", "Liverpool are unbelievable", "Salah for ballon dor", they finished 7 points behind Arsenal. I don't think Liverpool did enough this half fo the season to win the league, I think Arsenal need 85-90 pts to win the league. Need Liverpool to just have a 9 point dip (39 pts) compared to first half. Which would be bare minimum imo. What I'm saying is I still feel we have this in our hands, history states Liverpool will dip heavily and Arsenal improve in second half's of seasons.
Exactly, the whole "pathway" thing was nonsense because United have spent more on strikers than Arsenal in recent years & are talking about buying Gyokeres now too. If you're good enough you will get a chance at Arsenal, Lewis Skelly & Nwaneri make that very clear.
Chido was ill-advised by people around him and he has no loyalty. He left his previous club to join Arsenal in the same fashion. He thought he was ready to push into the starting lineup. Man Utd havent even placed him on the squad, let alone give him minutes. There are levels to the game. Scoring ridiculous amounts of goals in a game at youth level doesn't mean it'll happen on a pro level. He really screwed himself for leaving. The kid is seriously disillusioned
Arteta's lack of trust in youth was always a myth. Look when he first joined, he picked Reiss Nelson over record signing Pepe and Saka at left back in his first game. In a year the front 4 against Chelsea was 19 year old Martinelli, 20 year old Smith Rowe and 19 year old Saka. He tried to give Maitland Niles a pathway. He's tried to give youngsters opportunities but Hale End went through a dry spell and has only really gotten going. Arteta's known about Ethan since he was 12, 2nd week on the job Arteta calls in the head of the youth academy to discuss a certain academy player everyone was raving about. Not just this but there's still Max Dowman, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ayden Heaven and Jack Porter, all future stars whether it's at Arsenal or elsewhere
Really? I thought arsenal plays much more harder in away games and gets better result compare to playing in emirates where they’re playing laid back for whatever reason
Antony Gordon, xavi Simmons and all you named cannot have it easy playing against low blocks just as Martinelli and they’re no where as good as Martinelli in transitions!
I disagree. I think Gordon is a better player in transition because he can make the final pass or finish. MArtinelli still doesn't convince me as an intelligent and reliable player. He's fluffed and wasted many opportunities
@ Antony Gordon hasn’t had to come back from several long and short term injuries that distorts form especially for a young player of 20yrs like Martinelli has scored more goals, has been been to the World Cup and shown he’s a truly remarkable player as his man of the match performance vs Cameroon in Qatar showed, may be you’re being influenced by recency bias but overall of their career so far, Martinelli has the edge over Gordon!
No she doesn't she's given us props for crying out loud. She just thinks that Liverpool will win eventually although as a utd fan I'm sure that she would prefer us to win it
I'm not a fan of Manure FC but the upcoming game against Liverfools,Honestly I need them to stop Fools from running away with the points and the league title...it's a favour from a Gunners fan
I can't see Utd even remotely drawing against Liverpool at Anfield. Liverpool's next game against Nottingham away is where they'll drop pts. Forest have always been a banana skin for Liverpool
Pointing out that Partey was arguably MOTM is proof you actually pay attention, 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
I know I thought that he run the show
I think because he made a few misplaced passes under little pressure in the second half. If not he would be my MOTM
This lady knows ball. Big up for the Partey motm

"This analysis is much better than so called pundits on ESPN."
There's a simple reason for that. It's ESPN.
Same applies to SKY though tbf
You are right, I never listen to so-called pundits on those channels, I'll always go to the people I follow on RUclips - its much more in depth and unbiased. There is always an agenda when it comes to Arsenal.
Honestly, your analysis is always near the top among "fan" channels. Arsenal fan who appreciates your perspective.
Same with me
Nwaneri has the Messi height. He can turn much faster than 99 % of other players. With confidence this guy will go PlayStation style
Way to go Alice. Brilliant analysis❤

She is super smart on this. Very few men reach her level.
Alice we will welcome you to the Arsenal fan base.far better review 0f the game than the majority of Arsenal channels..Happy New year.
Partey really played well in this game and well done to the youngsters. May it continue ✌🏼
I think Arteta is more comfortable with Nwaneri in Prem games on the right as his defensive responsibilities replacing Saka is less than replacing Odegaard in the middle. He will have the sideline to help him and he won’t have to lead the press.
100%
100% Ethan out on the wide in B's abscence makes complete sense this must be our replacement out in Saka's abscence WE HV A GEM IN ETHAN
Nwaneri needs to develop physically. I don't think he'll reach the physical levels of Saka where he can be bumped and kicked by heavier defenders but still maintain his balance. Saka never ceases to amaze me how frail he looks, but he's strong as a bull in possession

I agree since 2024 and 2025 aswell ❤her
Nwaneri as a false 9 could be insane in the long term. Not saying he will be as good as him but he gives off heavy Messi brought up playing London streetball vibes
I'm here listening to Alice instead of listening to arsenal podcasters
Same
Most of them are worth ignoring
The only arsenal podcast i listen is the cannon podcast
Gooner Alice
I’ve been listening to her and Mark for the past 2 seasons now. Funny that rival teams RUclipsrs give better analyses than our own.
Thanks for the good work and time u put into your analysis.
Happy New year 🎉
A very good review as always. Happy new year 🎉
Happy New Year Alice, all the best with your plans and goals for 2025. Thanks for the analysis.

Great analysis !
Nwaneri is very good he just needs to learn when to release the ball a little bit sooner . Love your content Alice always honest
Releasing the ball too quickly is just as bad as releasing the ball too slowly
we are at last ok even without some of our key players like Saka...Rice and Hawatrz also on the bench...beauty of the game and the potential to win maintained throughout the game
Haters like Rants and his boyfriend Lee Gunner are livid with the Arsenal win. COYG!!
Great analysis … Very informative, descriptive and articulately engaging! …
Happy New Year Alice!
First time watchinng. Solid analysis, will watch again :)
Octopus 🐙 Partey
Happy New year and thanks for the detailed analysis 😊
Arsenal the only team can still catch liverpool imo. Defensively very solid, decent firepower. Not too easy on the eye tho usually.
Happy new year ally :)
This lady knows her stuff
Yeah Ethan Nwaneri is something special 🔥
The lad is very good. I remember when Lewis Miley came into our team last year because of injury. The lad is going to be something special

@Amberle38 aye I have to agree with you. Both are very good players. Do like your youth set up tbf , it's impressive
gon 33, 23 and 11. lock it down. shut them haters up. 3 more points and we keep marching on
I agree, especially, with your last point. We are not a real threat on the counter. Our lads are superior to many technically, and we are extremely solid defensively. But, this has come at the cost of our transition/counterattack play.

I believe you. This decision was so un-arteta. He would never bench his beloved havertz
No, Arteta said in a press conference that he would have started Nwaneri regardless because he deserved it
Ethans looks more dangerous and not very predictable like Saka 🎉🎉🎉 happy new year
Liverpool looks as good atm as Arsenal did in the 22/23 season, and Arsenal stumbled. There is still hope for both Chelsea and Arsenal
How come I never heard about Alice?
Wonderful analysis.
She knows the GAME
Nice analysis
Happy new year to you Alice
Happy new year Alice
Arsenal are Alic's 2nd team ....you can see her happiness . Great win .
Pretty Alice as usual, spot on! Including a huge hope of MU beating the Pool next game!
Thanks again Alice.

Partey was MOTM. Alice, you know ball.
Nwaneri is a better rw than he is a midfielder.
Absolutely not
Nwaneri is going to be elite levels only 17 as well however I have noticed his positioning to receive the ball isn't great but will no doubt overcome
I would love an Anthony Gordon on the left wing for Arsenal...he wld bring a different dimension to our attack
Can do better
Love your content and your beautiful looks 😍😍😍😍
Wow we could play Liverpool 4 times madness .... bring it !!
Alice ...been waiting for your analysis about man U and am disappointed I didn't get one 😢so I had to go to Saeed 😂😂to see him cry out loudly
Sorry to break this to you Miss Alice but you got the runt of the litter with that lad that deflected. We kept the tiger cubs!! 😉😁
Lippy on for the arsenal game
Lee gunner was fuming they we won
I know f ing funny to see him foming at the mouth 😂😂😂😂
Lee's boyfriend Rant's was fuming more!

Alice, Chido left for greed and immediate money…..a decision he’ll probably regret

You should just be an Arsenal fan, you seem to know a lot about the team 🎉
Dats why u shld switch allegience from the reds of Manchester to the reds of London!😅😅😅
Always Arteta when you Nwaneri, play him as a winger, he is better on the wing than midfield.
Chido left because he was greedy

Alice could I ask as a utd fan if u had to pick between arsenal or Liverpool to win the league who would u pick?
Ethan Nwaneri is good really good but i think he over carries the ball and doesnt know at when to realise it
Is it possible to play a 17 year old out of position?
Gooners knew.
Really? I thought arsenal plays much more harder in away games and gets better result compare to playing in emirates where they’re playing laid back for whatever reason
Soon on everything expect LP winning the league
First comment 😅
Ethan best position is a false no9
Lets see Liverpool if they get big injurys like arsenal allways have..
MNU must stop liverpool
Antony Gordon, xavi Simmons and all you named cannot have it easy playing against low blocks just as Martinelli and they’re no where as good as Martinelli in transitions!
Martinelli sucks at 7/10 aspects of football both those players you mentioned are better than Martinelli skill wise and decision making wise as well
