Nice video, you’re right that not enough people actually view images and video in full 360 with something like the Quest 2. Which app in the Quest 2 did you use to view the photos? I’ve had a problem viewing 360 photos that I’ve loaded onto my Quest 2 using the TV app. The images have a black line that extends from the nadir to the top of the images. I think it’s something to do with how the TV app processes the still images. I’ve taken the same images and embedded them into a 360 video in Premiere Pro and the rendered video plays fine on the Quest 2 with no black lines. Strange, have you come across this? Also as a side note I’ve taken 360 images with both my Mini 2 and Air 2S. I was surprised to find that I actually the color profile of the Mini 2 images better than the Air 2S. I do some post processing sharpening with Topaz app and get really nice results for display in the Quest goggles.
I cannot see any way of viewing a 360 still image in DEO, it appears to only look for videos while in the headset. I used to use the stock TV app in the Oculus but that appears to have stopped viewing 360 images, I just get a black screen with a message saying viewing in immersive mode. If you have any tips for viewing 360 images I would really appreciate it.

4096 × 2048 straight from the app or around double that if stitched on the computer instead
