- Today Architectural Digest is welcomed by Winnie Harlow to tour her glamorous Hollywood home. Having lived in rented apartments her whole life, the supermodel bought her first home in Los Angeles after relocating from New York for the heat and sunshine. This being her first home she was excited to get designing with AD100 authority Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The neutral base of the house layered with soft textures and dramatic accents come together to create a calming sanctuary for Winnie to kick back and relax. “It’s the first house I’ve ever lived in and it is a lot of work,” she says. “Nothing is ever done. There’s always something to do-something to fix or build-but I am up for it all.”

despite all the negative comments, winnie’s place is colorful and vibrant. yes it’s simplistic but at least it’s not over the top.
Everyone's taste changes over time and since this is her first house, her taste will change as well. It doesn't matter what we think if she loves it that's what matters.

Exactly!... and evidently people don't listen. Her *designer* insisted on using her photos as a wallpaper. The fact that she gave them liberty to design means she trusted their vision.

Love the light fixtures and the 70's vintage feel! The studio 54 pics and Keith Haring skins on the gym equipment was amazing.

As someone who loves colors, I was getting excited when she said she does too. I was a bit bummed with the first room and the more it went, the more I got disappointed.

I´m a big fan of Winnie, glad she has been a few times here in Brazil. Loved her house and, as a fan of Martyn, I have to confess they worked a lot togheter to achieve this wonderfull cozy place.
Very interesting how she has incorporated 70s modern with the chairs and brass palms. It really works here! I think the bathroom wall papering is very inspired and looks like something attainable in the short run. Well done!

The thing with these videos is you can kinda tell which celebrities own their forever homes and which ones are just passing through. Take that however you want. But this is one that is either staged just for the video or she's planning on selling and moving later. The decor to some of these are so similar that it just seems they want them to be prepped for potential buyers. Well I guess that also explains the AD interview. Some do it for promotion too though. I like the powder room as that was the only thing not whitewashed. She said she loves color...where is it???

The fun thing about a black and white pallette is when you start adding those pops of color and touches of unique art that can really grow the space's personality as you live in it. Its the canvas, and knicknacks are the paint!. I really love the airiness of the spaces and the fixtures she used, although with two barfingcats I willnever be able to do white carpets, lol 😅😅😅
