I´m a big fan of Winnie, glad she has been a few times here in Brazil. Loved her house and, as a fan of Martyn, I have to confess they worked a lot togheter to achieve this wonderfull cozy place.
The fun thing about a black and white pallette is when you start adding those pops of color and touches of unique art that can really grow the space's personality as you live in it. Its the canvas, and knicknacks are the paint!. I really love the airiness of the spaces and the fixtures she used, although with two barfingcats I willnever be able to do white carpets, lol 😅😅😅
As someone who loves colors, I was getting excited when she said she does too. I was a bit bummed with the first room and the more it went, the more I got disappointed.

The thing with these videos is you can kinda tell which celebrities own their forever homes and which ones are just passing through. Take that however you want. But this is one that is either staged just for the video or she's planning on selling and moving later. The decor to some of these are so similar that it just seems they want them to be prepped for potential buyers. Well I guess that also explains the AD interview. Some do it for promotion too though. I like the powder room as that was the only thing not whitewashed. She said she loves color...where is it???

I was the same way for a very long time In my previous apartment a few years back, I had a music room because I wanted to be a beat maker lmao, I had a Celtics basketball room, and I had a glam girly room all in the same house 🤣 lol I was just into so much it depended on my mood what I was gonna do for that day. However as we get older the people around us change, our thought process changes, our styles and interests change. Ijs It's a lovely house and she is definitely blessed by the Gods. 🖤
Color temperature would make the biggest difference in making this space feel more welcoming and authentic to her as a person. As it is, the whole place feels cold, overly bright with manufactured light, and sterile like a Zara or H&M. TikTok design trends have really near-convinced a whole generation that warm light is ‘gross dirty yellow light’ while blue-cool bright white bulbs are ‘clean’, and then everyone spends years wondering why they feel insecure and anxious in their own spaces and keep getting terrible sleep.
Some people like the super bright light and since she is a model her place feeling like Zara or H&M might not be bad for her...as for sleep issues not everyone has the same problems, some people have the opposite problems. It just depends on what an individual wants and needs in their own space. SOme people feel relaxed in spaces like that and some people don't, you have to know yourself. As for tiktok it's not just a tiktok thing it has to do with design and minimalism taking over many artistic spaces in general.
Architecturally it looks like any generic new build these days. The same could be said for decor. Celebrity isn’t important. Maybe gear videos toward unique and thoughtful architecture and design.
