After two years, the Eras Tour has finally come to an end and I wanted to look back at some of my favourite (and less-favourite) things. The final night of tour was such a perfect dedication to what this tour became, a celebration of the humungous effort that all people involved underwent in creating the highest grossing tour of all time. THANK YOU FOR BRINGING UP PEOPLE'S LACK OF BOUNDARIES. I am so sick of people complaining online about the lack of announcements or prying into Taylor's personal life. It is getting gross and extremely entitled and this is something that needs to be left behind.
Also, announcements and surprise songs are ADDITIONS to an already magical, enchanting, and perfect show. I wish people would just go back to what we learned in preschool: you get what you get and you don't throw a fit lol (especially when there is literally no reason to if you got to attend The Eras Tour) /rant over. ily ally 💕🫶

I feel like too many people have gotten used to the fact that they can make clicks, views and ultimately money from talking about Taylor, no matter what the content. it's made me really uncomfortable over the last couple of years.

a suprise song mashup i was FLABBERGASTED that you didn't mention is i hate it here x the lakes because i truly think that that changed my brain chemistry forever. just as someone with a lot of escapism tendancies and who has both of those songs in their top 10, it was incredibly special to hear and the way she sang specfic parts had me floored with how beautiful it was. also mirrorball x clara bow is another i was shocked wasn't mentioned.

The exile/Haunted mashup will always get to me, Haunted is one of my absolute favourite songs by hers and the way the audience sang along to exile was such a magical moment. It’s one of those mashups that i hope she releases on streaming

marjorie was such an emotional moment of the show for me, my show was on my maternal grandmother’s birthday and i went with my mom it was a very special thing to share this song with her to kind of commemorate my grandma as well i’m so grateful taylor felt comfortable putting it on the setlist

Thank you for addressing the entitlement, lack of appreciation and boundaries of some of the Swifties! It breaks my heart when people, so publicly, voice their disappointment with their surprise songs, no announcements, outfits, etc.
Appreciate and acknowledge EVERYTHING Taylor goes above and beyond with. All her hard work, all the extras we've already gotten. She gives SO much of herself. For people to make her feel bad about it is so sad and disheartening.
When I was in London and she started playing I Did Something Bad, did I for sure think she was announcing Rep TV...yeah, but she didn't and that was perfectly fine. I had the time of my life and that would have just been extra icing on my already huge and super sweet cake, lol
It makes me mad people complained about her wearing the same outfits on the last couple of nights. They need to be grateful that she gave us new outfits in the first place because she really didn't have to do that, but maybe that's just me
Plus they filmed the last three nights, so we knew the outfits weren't going to change anyway because of continuity. The fact that she had different surprise songs despite filming was a gift unto itself (and way more important than outfits tbh) but way too many fans will never be satisfied no matter what she does.

I think some of the saltiness comes from Canadian swifties feeling a bit stiffed, like a lottttt of announcements and cool thing she does are American/ European and exclude Canada (Ei, target special eras tour book) so I think some people were just bummed that we miss out on so much AND ALSO “only got one outfit for two nights”. Not that I agree, just that I kind of understand where some people complaining are coming from

@horribledevilgirl as a Canadian who went to the last night, almost every single person i talke to there was from America. There was a huge amount of Americans at the last show, so i dont think its fair to say it was mostly Canadian swifties.
My Grandma has not been well since this year and when I attended the Tour this summer and Tay performed Marjorie, I sobbed. She now died and we‘re gonna play this song at her funeral. It has a special place in my heart and i‘m glad she put it on the setlist. The loss of a beloved person is something everyone experiences, whether you‘re a superstar or not and for me it‘s kind of healing to know i‘m going through the same thoughts and feelings like Taylor and so many other people.
So sorry for you loss! I miss my grandma everyday, you’ll never forget her I’m sure!

I KNEW what your number 1 would be, and honestly, as someone who was there, it’s easily taken my top spot as well. My videos are just me screaming in shock and awe and disbelief. It’s to this day the number one question I get asked about that night, did I know the song? Did I appreciate how rare it was? Yes. Yes I did. Forever grateful she decided to bless us with those mashups ❤

my show was london n7, and im so happy. i went with my sister who had been wishing for long live since we got tickets and as soon as we heard the first lyric, we just screamed with joy to each other. later my mum told me that a group of girls in front of us had just looked up and smiled at our happiness, there truly is no other sense of camaraderie and friendship than the eras tour.

fully agree that this was the safest and most comfortable I've ever felt at any concert ever!! having general admission in europe felt intimidating at first but everyone kept each other safe and we just held each other when we needed it. it felt even more comfortable and positive than love on tour!! like no jealousy, no bad feelings, no pushing, nothing. the eras tour was so beautiful and I'll miss it every day 🥺🫶🏼
I am always taken back by the lack of boundaries some fans have, "the crowd was chanting more!" She gave us so much with this tour and I am so grateful, as I know many Swifties are. It was such a historical tour and was lucky enough to have have seen it in person and via live streams! Was there some songs I wish that would have been performed in place of others, yes, but the times I went I sang and danced the whole time, and it was an experience that I would not change at all. I attended Glendale N1 (Mirrorball & Tim McGraw) and Vancouver N3 ( A Place in This World/New Romantics and Long Live/New Year's Day/Manuscript). Thank you for another awesome video Ally!

I went to Amsterdam night 3 alone. It was the most special time of my life. Firstly, because I only got my ticket like a week before, and also because my parents went with we and drove like 6 hours in total just so I got to see Taylor. But cause tickets were so expensive, nobody could go with me. So I, as a 16 year old, went into the arena alone and I was just the most happy and grateful as I could ever be. Luckily I also had a very nice girl next to me who gave me a friendship bracelet. Also that girl wore the folklore dress that Taylor actually wore during the folklore set, which was just absolutely crazy. But getting Mary's song with so high school and everything has changed was just my absolute dream. I can't even explain the feeling when Taylor said she was going to play a song from her first album and in my head I was like 'what if its mary's song', and then it was Mary's song and I was just instantly crying. And also I love that I got to hear sweeter than fiction, cause I love that song and hearing it live was just crazy.

1) Your favorite surprise song ranking is spot on and some of these I completely missed so I am excited to go find the recordings.
2) As a "Reputation-Is-My-Fave-Album" fan, I could not agree with you more about being glad she did not announce it at the end of the tour. I am so grateful for all we have already received during this tour and I am still listening to TTPD daily.
3) I was at NJ night two and got Holy Ground (fave Red song) and False God (fave Lover song). Felt like I won my own little lottery.
🫶🏻 I didn’t get to attend an eras show. But I’m so happy for everyone who did. I’m eternally grateful to have been able to witness how beautiful our Swiftie community is. What a privilege it is to be alive the same time as Taylor Alison Swift!

THANK YOU for including the last unpopular opinion about the announcements and being so clear and eloquent in your reply. I feel like those people constantly demanding an announcement are the same people who got annoyed at all Vienna swifties being sad because they thought we were ALL spamming taylornation and the dancers and doing the most when really, most of us were just really bummed out that the shows we waited for for over a year weren't happening. I really really hope we can move forward to be a more compassionate fanbase and community again.

I was supposed to see her in Vienna with my mom and two best friends. After that, I couldn’t watch any of the shows, but I did watch the final one. It’s so bittersweet that it’s over. She deserves the break of course, but knowing we never got to see or be a part of it truly breaks my heart still to this day.

I can’t quite grasp the thought that it’s really over. The two years just raced by. There are no words to encapsulate the magic of this cultural and musical phenomenon! I am so incredibly proud and grateful for anyone involved in this tour, from Taylor all the way to her dancers, band, truck drivers, tech, security, logistics, etc. The fact that as soon as you enter, you feel the warmth. The fact that tens of thousands of people feel safe and have a connection to each other is so fascinating. Truly, I shall never forget the spectacle that is The Eras Tour.❤

Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve/Ivy and Forever & Always/Maroon was actually Sydney N4, which was my show! I was absolutely blown away and it has completely changed how I feel about those songs. Ivy is now one of my all time faves.

Favorite little moments - KAM!!!! the fact that Taylor gives him the space to shine is truly amazing! His We Are Never Getting Back Together moments (in all languages and slangs!) and his bit before ICDIWABH are just so perfect. I could watch hours of compilations of Kam!

27:22 I agree transitions to new songs have to be rehearsed but I did live for the few times she addressed things specific to that crowd, even her telling fans of for throwing stuff, because it did make it feel less like she was just clocking into work and she’s not the best actress so it really did sound like she was reading of a teleprompter every night

My shows were Amsterdam N2 and N3. The mash-up of Mary's Song, So High School and Everything Has Changed, were mindblowing and so much fun!!! I got goosebumps just hearing them in your video. I made so many memories that I'm going to remember forever⭐
I was at the last show and before going I was thinking RepTV or something special might be announced. Once the show started I forgot all about my expections because the show was so good and by the Red era the the show really built up some great 'last show energy'.

As a person who couldn't make it to any of the concerts, I really loved being able to connect with other fans while watching the streaming versions. I also love that she put out that movie. It really made me feel like I too got to go to the concert.
40:56 I love our swiftie community but I think some people have gotten carried away with the reputation (Taylor's Version) clowning. I LOVE clowning, it truly is so fun to do, but I mean come on guys, we just got a 31 track double album, and truly we as the crowd are still chanting MORE! Taylor gave so much to us on tour, and we still ask from more of her. The last two rerecords will come when they're ready (likely in 2025!)
As a Foxborough N1 and N2 girly ; I fully agree with what you said about surprise songs : I got two of my favorites on night 1 and one of my least favorite in the catalog on N2 and guess what? Both shows were absolutely amazing AND the song I hated before is now a fun memory for me and my friends !
Also thank you for seeing the amazingness that was Foxborough N1: better man is in my top 5 and I was in disbelief and tears !

I literally stared at the screen in shock like bro, what? I gaslighted myself into thinking she wasn't singing it then i heard the chorus and i died. Also im a reputation girlie so Getaway car was so fun.
Honestly some of the best memories of my life. The people I went with were much more casual fans but it was my brothers girlfriend and her sisters. It was a great bonding moment and I don't have any sisters so it was like proper sisterhood. I just want to shout out the two girls who moved me towards the barrier cause I'm short, so I could get a better view, actual queens love them. Truly I had the time of my life.
Also about the chair thing in Europe. It was a mess. First security at our venue was horrible just throwing that out there. Second my feet were fine (i got reputation themed crocs and fluffy socks for the show) but MY KNEES OMG MY KNEES HURT. Like the back of my knees were in so much pain from standing straight to see her because im short so i struggled.
i wanted to go so bad but couldn't :(( I still loved the video bc I love watching others experience such an amazing thing! the eras tour has brought so many people so much good, even the ones who didn't go like me. I still had amazing experiences tied to it (eras movie, watching lives w friends, etc) and its amazing that one tour and one group of people all tied to one person could bring that. love you ally!

Marjorie was emotional for me because I was able to get two of my nieces to their first Taylor show and I hope that one day, they remember their Aunt (me) with as much love and fondness as in that song. I shared my love of Taylor’s music with them and now they can say they saw Eras…I think it’s a beautiful addition for anyone who brought a loved one to remind them that love lives on even when time runs out. 🥹

21:31 the idea of muscle memory singing before your brain has processed what song it actually is is SO REAL! That happened to me when watching the final live stream-- she started playing A Place In This World and I started FREAKING out and slapping my partner's leg and singing along, and then in my group chat said I "THE OUTSIDE" 🤦♀️ A Place In This World means so much to me, I listened to it a basically every day between the ages of 13-15 and I know it like the back of my hand. AND YET, part of my brain still went sideways before the rest of it could catch up!
The Eras Tour /TTPD has brought my mom into the fandom and over the last two years its been something that we have bonded over and celebrated together! I am much like you when it comes to my thoughts about reptv (I'll be happy and surprised whenever it comes out but don't want to dwell on it or theorize about it), though my mom is fully in that rabbit hole of theories and having a great time. It's so fun, as a swiftie since Our Song, to watch her new found exactment about everything Taylor. The Eras Tour brought so much joy into our house and lives and I can't wait for the next thing! (though hopefully the next thing won't be for a while)

I completely agree with you saying that hearing certain songs live can completely change your perspective. Toronto N2 got I Don’t Wanna Live Forever x Mine and Evermore x Peter. It shook me to my core, because two songs that had previously not been favorites (I don’t wanna live and evermore) were forever changed in my mind after hearing them live 💗
🫶 Love this as usual and I agree with most everything you said! Long live the Eras Tour and I'm VERY excited to see what Taylor does next. Not because I'm desperate for an announcement or demanding that she keep us fed (I hope she enjoys a LONG vacation with Travis on a beach somewhere lol and all the crew and dancers enjoy their well-deserved time off as well), but because we've been living in an Eras world for 2 years and it's so exciting to think about the new things she may want to try. She's said many times that creating has been the most fulfilling thing for her and I hope to see her continue doing what she loves 💕And when the last re-records do come I will be soooo sat but for now I'm perfectly content to bask in what Taylor and everyone involved in this tour has accomplished 🥰Also I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who prefers the new 1989 sets 😂I think their silhouettes embody the original 1989 fashion better and I love all the fun colors!!
