4:14 Siren accidentally kicks Lisa, trying to roll off of her. Good eye by the ref. Not intentional, but gladiators are held to stricter rules. That's why the reprimand.
I miss this show so much. It had enough sizzle to make it fun to watch but enough steak to be a real competition. The remake just seemed way over produced and the look of the show just seemed off.
Larry Thompson is definitely the Best Referee AG has ever had. He even DQ’d Hawk(RIP) after he accidentally tackled him in the Gauntlet, and awarded himself 10 Points
I learned quite recently that Larry Thompson was my grandfather on my mother's side. From what I've heard from her he wasn't a great father but he sure loved this show
Oh, give it a rest! Lace was known for fighting dirty, too. Zap and several other women besides Blaze. Guess Blaze did it real well, though. Captured y'all's minds, huh?!
@@VivaciousVirgO Can you please explain what you meant by "Lace was known for fighting dirty"? Lace was one of the most beloved and nicest gladiators from Season 1 to 3.
@@SJWieczorek Please rewatch that match between Blaze & Denise, Denise clearly pulled Blaze's hair first dragging Blaze and her to the ground before Blaze slammed Denise. Denise was the aggressor first by pulling Blaze's hair.
@@furbl4345 I just watched it. She had Blaze in a HEADLOCK She did NOT pull her hair. Also, it the contestant before her, Blaze grabbed her helmet. Blaze had NO RIGHT to smash her head into the ground when she lost the match.
You know I had forgotten all about this show I really did and I enjoyed it and I know most of them are probably either too old to do it again definitely who's tired or gone but you know what it would be nice to see signification of it or reruns of it I wouldn't mind it at all it was Something very good to get your mind off of other things I wish it would come back as reruns I forget how long it was on TV but I liked it
Looks to me like Siren just let her frustration get the best of her. Siren is not a dirty gladiator. She was just upset with her own performance in the Conquer ring, and unfortunately blinded by that she may not have entirely realized the contender was still there.
Yeah i noticed that as well. The way she kinda tweaked her body like that for a split second looked like she pulled something in her lower back real bad. Glad that wasn't the case.
There were a lot of good-looking people on this show, but there was something about Siren that drove me nuts. I found her so attractive that it was distracting. And I still do, haha.
And looking at this video yeah diamond was faked out which on the little surprise dad happened but it's far as siren was concerned when I saw her in the rain cause she was remembering what happened to her the first time she didn't intentionally kick that opponent what happened and I guess the referee didn't see it is she felt she had done something to her tailbone or her back siren and felt like she tweaked it or had a problem there so she was trying to roll over and get out there quick and unfortunately her left leg went into the opponent and I guess Larry I guess is his name the referee thought she had kicked the opponent and she didn't was accidental because I even saw what was going on so yeah she thought she had done something to herself so I'm sure they cleared that up after a while at least I hope they did but I know siren when I watch this she doesn't usually mean anything by anything she just does what she can do👍👍👍👍👊👊
She was just trying to get up quickly. She also put her hand in the small of her own back, so I don't know if she tweaked it and that added to the desire to right herself quickly, but yeah, no purposeful "kick" of the opponent. She even says that she didn't know she did it.
@@skippythealien9627 WWE get injuries too. What's your point? The concept for this show is just stupid. I didn't say it was fake. I implied that the 'gladiators' are just putting on a show.
Shows you how serious she was when she was competing… RIP Siren .
The director knew which camera to switch to in order to get the ''best'' shot of Diamond on the field.
Diamond had a rack!
Where ya been bro !?
Yes, very sexy
they all did

Diamond What a Babe

Larry Thompson fun facts. He was a PAC-10 Football official and a High School Assistant Principal.
They should bring this game back. I enjoyed watching this in the 90's
They did in 2008 wasn't received that well think it only lasted 2 seasons the original gladiators really didn't like it

Look like Turbo took down that contender with a modified spinebuster

I don't think Larry Thompson is alive either

@@lordskellyboi2070 I've only heard of Larry as a referee on International Gladiators. Because our 90s UK referee was John Anderson
Didn't look like much, wasn't as blatant as when Blaze slammed Denise Chase's head in the Conquer ring.
Yeah. It was an accident. What Blaze did was deliberate. And I didn't blame for Denise getting upset

All gladiators are dirty. They used steriods.
"Frustration"...Roid rage.
Siren should have been given a spanking penalty.
Pretty sure Siren kicked out because she got an accidental wedgie and wanted to get up as quickly as possible to fix the slight wardrobe malfunction.

She got a wedgie the 1st time too.

DIdn't seem like she meant to hit her, just trying to get her arm out from under. From ref's view probably looked like a punch or slap.
Ref just wanted to get touchy
Wow, good call ref, accident or not, good call, good eye

Unprofessional ref, grabbing a competitor like that and ass chewing her especially after she hurt her back.
Y'all so cute analyzing this goofy 'competition'. This is just glorified WWE.
