Just remember Hebrews 10:25 calls us to be part of a local fellowship. These sermons are great and full of encouragement. But they do not meet the requirements of a local church.
I have been watching Pastor Wilson’s sermons for about a month now. I stumbled across them as I was seeking a scripture based (the Word comes first, foremost a great big, in context portion of scripture PRAISE GOD, then a message if crafted from applying that teaching to our current situation) ministry while attending the message based (Hmmm what shall we talk about for the next few weeks? How can we cherry pick/cut and paste some verses into support that message) ministry. Sadly, I live at the opposite end of the nation (central Florida) and have yet to find such a church as Christ Church to join.

I would like to know how we can have Christ in any of our govts if our preachers preach earthly truth and not the heavenly gospel. " Set your minds on things above not on things on the earth for you have died and your life is hid with Christ in God. I sat under Doug Wilson s preaching for five years and never heard him preach our pure, heavenly position in Christ.
This perfect position is a gift and cannot be added to . Our salvation is complete in Christ, and we are seated in the heavenlies in Christ, at the throne of God. Doug Wilson is a legalist, because he abandons the gospel and believes we live the Christian life in our own strength. The gospel says we are saved to the uttermost heaven of heavens, and as we rest there, Christ lives his life through us.
How does he know the Spirit is "present there today"? Salvation is preached where the Spirit is present. In other words the Spirit arrives, bringing the heavenly gospel. The gospel teaches that man is a king in the court of the Lord. Christians are not vanity anymore. We have been taken down into death with Christ on the cross. The flesh was buried and stayed in the tomb. This is not "hard to swallow" when the Spirit is present ". The Civil War was caused by the Arminianism of Charles Finney. America was taught that they had power to fight. We are weak, not strong. I don't have the strength to pray. I have the strength to rest in the resurrection and ascension of Christ, and mine with him. As I rest in my completed salvation, Christ works through me to pray for and love my enemies. When the Spirit shows up, the restful gospel is preached.
In fact, he addressed precisely internal conversion @39:35 timestamp, but I bet you didn't know that. I'm guessing you have not listened to this (and most) sermons of his, but are *opposed to his overall political stance* and have taken to trolling ALL channels run by Christ Church, Canon Press, and Doug's own Blog & Mablog. @patlangness7942: Get a life! 🎉🎉🎉
It’s true that you may not be gospel centred even if you are biblically literate but being gospel centred if you aren’t biblically literate is far less likely. The law and the gospel cannot be separated, there is no gospel without the law, so we must immerse ourselves in both.
Very poignant question - both north and south prayed to the same Lord God for victory, what gives? The closest verse I can think of is 1 Jn. 2:19: "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us." (Disclosure: I've been 100% pro-Russia since Feb 2022)
That I had to go to Moscow, Idaho to find a church. Thank you for posting these gospel based sermons. Grateful in Kentucky 🙏

Not familiar with the state but how far are you from Orlando? I know of a congregation that is like minded with a solid and sound elder

@@josiahpulemau6214 Truth is, I was converted by a Presbyterian. Cool guys. (Hope they've grown less hostile towards Catholics though).

** You're trolling under different accounts but same stalker/stalker-group.
Effectively, this is classic online harassment.
Immerse yourself in the gospel, not in the law. A biblically literate person is not necessarily a gospel centered person.
A biblically literate person is necessarily a gospel centered person because the bible is gospel centered.

God DOESN'T lead. God does the fighting. We do the resting and watching him work
In what world? 😂
It's clear you haven't read any part of the Bible.
Faith without works is dead. James 2:17

Anyone who is earth centered (like Douglas Wilson) he has never been among us. Christians are heavenly people. Doug Wilson has forgotten heaven.
He says we are Christians, but he doesn't understand what being a Christian is. Our job is to teach rest in Christ to the nations. Remember
Yes. Examine yourself. You have been placed in the heavenlies and you have an advocate there.
In every gov't it is rest in Christ that is central. Our weakness and his strength.
Oh you sound very much like the other guy who stalk-spams all of Doug Wilson's videos who admitted he/she/it had an "axe to grind".
