This was the first English song he sang on Singer 2017. His English improved with each song. I think he did quite well for someone who only spoke Kazakh and Russian when he came on the show. I watched the entire show and enjoyed all the singers. If you decide to react to more of this show, make sure you do the videos that have cc for English translations. It's interesting to hear what the other singers say about Dimash. This was a song written by Brian May of the British band Queen. Brian May at first didn't think Freddie Mercury would want to sing this song but he did. Freddie was drawing near the end of his battle with AIDS. So, I guess it is ironic because Freddie was slowly dying but felt that the show must go on. Brian May heard Dimash sing this and said that Freddie would have been proud. I am 74 years of age and my husband is deceased. My parents had a great marriage for 48 years before my dad passed away. They were the best example of marriage I've known, mine ended in divorce. We were not, as they say, equally yoked. Please speak to young people about the importance of being equally yoked. Marriage is not an example of opposites attracting. It's really the opposite.

I love Dimash's voice but it always sounds like he's turning any rock/pop song into a classic/opera song. My personal preference of a current artist is Adam Lambert singing it. If course he's been the front man for the band since 2012 so he does have that advantage of being able to perform it hundreds of times in front of millions of people.
