I think they later became the abyss order... you can see smilarities between abyss mage clothes and Kaeya’s, plus he can speak hilichurlian...hmm CoInCiDeNcE? Plus many belive he is a prince cuz he jokerdabout Fischl being royalty cuz of the eyepatch so he may have a mark on his eye that symbolises royalty...AND SO IN THE KHAN’RIA ARC HE BECOMES 5 STAR!(I hope) :)
