    Thank you so much for the video. It looked easy when you do it. What gauge wire did you use? is it 16 gauge or 18 gauge? My subwoofer is Rockford fosgate R1s412 200W rms subwoofer. I soldered 14 gauge wire to the back side terminals just like you but when I switched on the amplifier it gave some sound and turned off immediately and didnt turn on until I removed the terminal. I used a push terminal with a hole. Both positive and negative terminals were connected properly. But when I connect the 14 gauge wire directly from subwoofer to amplifier without terminals, it works beautifully.
    Is 14 gauge wire too much for soldering it to the back side of terminals? Should I use 16 gauge or normal speaker wire? Please advise.

    You should changed a speaker wire also when you been at work. Wire is to thin and a bad quality for the subwoofer.

    Hey so the wires that connect to my terminals are too short, what’s the wire called so I could maybe extend it ?

    What if my connector was smoking at one point and burned through the plastic piece, also if it’s not it a specific spot it sparks, how do I fix??

      You have to measure a resistant on your speaker there is a possibility your bass speaker blown

      Also your amplifier probably set too high

      Sparks is really bad your wires should not be hot. By keep running it you can damage a lot of stuff. Make sure your wires that coming from amplifier are thick enough

      Yes of course. But your 2 subs have to be properly connected between each other in your box !!

      What holes ? On the terminals on the back ?

    Why not just move the terminals to the new cup or the tab to the new terminal? No need to desolder etc.

      @IvanRossS  Год назад

      It's upgrade because this is a push to connect, not twist style.
