- I finally did it, I shaved my head. I had dreadlocks for almost 8 years so it is definitely a big change for me!

Daaaang, your dreads were dope, but I get it. I started my locs just over two years ago and I'm obsessed haha! Your length was GOALS too tbh, I lost so much length when I made mine (it went from belly button length to shoulder length, which I'm just now seeing the length come back) but I understand the heaviness and the craziness is a lot to deal with. I like the pixie you have going on right now and a fresh start is always fun! I love how our hair is so forgiving because no matter what, it always comes back new and fresh🤣 Super rad video💕
Thank you! Some days I really really miss my dreads. But I know at the time cutting them off was what I was meant to do. They had started to annoy me so much. I always thought when I had long beautiful dreads I would do all these wonderful hairstyles with them and I just never did. So I finally let go. I can’t wait for my natural hair to grow out more. The pixie cut is fun, but I’ve always had long hair 💖
@@thathippiefamily Totally understandable! I just wear mine up all the time, but it works because I never really ever did styles anyway haha. I think your hair is going to look awesome long so that will be cool to see. The thing that sucks about growing out a pixie is the awkward in between stage... I looked like a teenage skater boy when mine was growing out but I also intentionally got a bowl cut🤣🤣🤣

Yesss I already feel like I’m on the brink of such an awkward stage too. I have no idea what I’m supposed to do with it! Lol it’s too short for a pony tail and that was always my go to 😆
@@thathippiefamily Aww, I think it looks great right now, it's when it's in between ear and shoulder length is when things get weird! Lolol. You're curly though so it'll probably be cute, mine was very straight back when I grew it out (like 12 years ago when I was 22). Maybe do little pig tails, lots of cool hats, and hair clips? It's growing fast too so it'll go by before you know it☺️

Haha yes I do miss them sometimes but they were starting to drive me nuts. I’m looking forward to having different hairstyles now
