I love how the first woman described her home. I have always taken an interest in interior design. I used to rearrange my room monthly switching it up as a kid. As I've gotten older all I want is to ensure my home is safe, cozy, and secure exactly as she stated. For my kids, for myself. I take pride in my home, my family, them feeling secure in their environment. She captures that just in words love the styles, esthetic, personality, character. Fabulous!!! Makes me want to style and shop, textures, colors, neutrals. Heaven.
Catherine’s home in west London is an absolute dream! What an example she is of making the best of what life presents. She wants to own a home and so hoping the universe gifts her one!
Love Alexandra and her channel is such a blast to watch! And the woman in London was amazing because she made the home so warm and refreshing with all of her hard work! I could listen to her talk all day. Great series here!
I love the 3rd Lady... she is hilarious...and her home is very practically-pretty. I have learned so much from her and thank you for sharing your knowledge and perspective.
Such a fun video with lots of great ideas. FYI… regarding your bedroom chair that your cat destroyed you might want to try velvet because I find my cats are not interested in clawing any of my velvet furniture. I also have furniture that is covered in heavy cotton duck cloth that they don’t bother. I have noticed they like a lighter weight looser weave type fabric for clawing. Also, have a scratching post in one or two rooms because they have a physical need to claw something - I don’t think he is mad when he does it but he could be stressed. Great apartment it’s amazing what you have created.
Kudos, to all the very talented, inventive, cost-conscious, designer women in one of my most loved Homeworthy episodes. Every last one of these women show the audience that it's not what's in your wallet; but what's on your ever evolving mind/what's available (right in front of you; from the past [vintage collections or beloved diys] /even future opportunities). Design is ever evolving according to your changing tastes; educating oneself and of course, your income (or therelackof [survival skills kick in moments]. In today's economy, all these skills are a must. This was a refreshing episode that can inspire the future designers or ordinary plain homeowners. No one has to feel they're doing it wrong-just doing it their way. Bravo, ladies!
I agree with Catherine, Live in the now! And the fact her place is an apartment and not a house is astonishing! We all would love to own - its unatainable for many, apparently even overseas - make your place home! Go Catherine! ❤
I agree with the London lady, if you have to live in a rental, at least make it livable, and cozy, there is nothing wrong with that. If you have to rent for awhile, at least live your best life and make it nice, as long as it isn't too expensive. You can do a lot with paint! Paint is the cheapest way to change the look of a room. If the London lady would save her money, she could eventually buy her own place. But that is only my opinion, if it makes her happy, then that is what counts.
Beautifully decorated homes! 👌🏽 I always feel kinda bad for house proud people who rent. It would be better to move to a not so trendy area that's cheaper but a safe area etc and buy your own place if possible. Your rent money can go towards your loan repayments.
I am 66 and have rented all my life. I don't even want to know where the fuse box is so I sure do not want any of that homeowners' responsibilities. I have had a good salary which I put into owning antiques and great art. I do not want to be house rich but environment barren. I have a great credit score; a beautiful apartment, and the peace that comes from knowing whatever goes wrong is someone else's problem. And no yardwork!!! Yay!!! Oh and in all my renting years, I have always had owners who let me or even paid for any changes I wanted to make to the spaces. For "most" of my renting years, I have been blessed to have had some wonderful spaces that I decorated to my heart's delight, great neighbors, and fantastic property owners. The good life can be had without home ownership. Please do not feel badly for us renters.🥰
@@alisadotson8403 At the end of the day if you are happy that's all that matters. 😊 I guess it makes sence to rent for some, please don't think I was being critical, thank you for reply, I see the other side of the coin now!🍻🙏🏽
@@alisadotson8403I totally agreed with you, I’m a homeowner and omg so many things come with being a homeowner lol, but I’m happy and blessed I love my home and my neighbors they are like family to us . I agreed home is where you are happy that’s it💐
If it were that easy we'd ALL be homeowners but it's the circle of life and it's always been this way because there's just no possibility of all of us being homeowners and instead of living in squalor you have to make the best of your environment.
Salvation army, or something similar can have hidden gems just need to go and check on certain days if u have the time to do so. Also marketplace, or mercari people tend to have things others would like. One man's trash is another's treasure.
excuse my comment but the side tables beside your bed does not look like the same that she said was from market place, even though they look samiliari at the bottom, the table upper part look more rounde.r

Love those childless cat ladies!!! 😀 Especially ladies with IMPECCABLE taste!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful, curated home.
Cats need a scratching post

I was afraid at first you were going to feature the laundromat guy 😂
My favorite style is the young lady at the end. This is my style also, very pretty.
Alexandra's home design style incorporates both modern and traditional; giving a homey and charming appeal.

So many lovely homes! I loved Sophie Braud's apartment and her lifestyle.
The first beautiful designer, Tamiko Hargrove, I would love the bed in king size. It is absolutely uniquely gorgeous.
I also love a good find, salvation Army is a great place to find treasures!
Yessss!
❤ your content! Beautiful work. Thank you!
Catherine always the best
Tameka.. love your green Mandalay on your dining table. Super look

I wish the last one had a house, this was too short. And I want to see her closet next!
Beautiful colors, I luv it
i need that bed
Alexandra Gater stop calling Ghram, a handyman, he is an Architectural engineer!

I love Alexandra's style. She has a beautiful home and is obviously very talented. That vocal fry though...nails on a chalkboard. 😆

The London ladies art is not at all my taste!. I love how they call accessories, " bits and bobs" how cute is that.
Omg the first one is absolutely no. To much clutter. Less is more I don't get why everything has to have something on it. Let's see the next....
You are a very beautiful woman, but that hair style is not for you.
U chatted too much unnecessarily
