I like the way Geno just tells it like it is..no frills, straight talk...the new gir Edwards is good...hope Audrey and Anna get out of their funk....they seem to be scared of Geno...:) Buecker needs to get her 3 point shot a bit better with practice. Make those free throws.
The teams needs shooting practice... lower all the rims on the practice field.. Each rims is a shooting station divide the team to two per rim.... The rims become a 3 point station, foul line, lay ups, mid range jumpers etc... at first each 2 lady teams shoots at a walk pace then the pace goes to game speed!!!!! not one on one though..... that is for another day!!!!
Most of the time the rims are posted high in the air so they do not interfere with the active on the practice court..... A lot of practice courts have rims, one on each side of the half court so there is a total of 6 rims but 4 swing up so they do not interfere with main activity of the court!!!! Now with all 6 available to shoot at they can be used as stations to shoot different kinds of shots. and not have a all the balls from everyone bouncing your ball out the way plus you can concentrate on one area that a person needs work on... the person then goes to another rim to do others shots... This way the coach staff can watch an correct each player and guide them to do better..... Never been to UConn assuming the main court is not used for practice like in most high school!!!
War is ugly. You survive more than win.
