- “April Kisses” originally recorded in 1927 by Maestro Salvatore Massaro-“Eddie Lang” as he came to be known. Born on this day October 25 in 1902 and died in 1933 before he was 31 years old due to complications after a tonsillectomy. What the heck. Still, with his trusty L5 he left a legacy that took the role of guitar in “popular” music to unforeseen levels and continues to have a big influence on many of us thanks to a combination of his virtuosity, developments in technology, and serendipitous timing.. here is a humble homage

Thank you. Eddie Lang fan here, you would make him proud.
The warm sound of the Gibson is just 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
My dream guitar.. it had been mostly sitting in its case since the 70s until I first held it almost a year ago now. I still can’t believe I acquired it
very nice, sweet sound and well played
Love this soothing sounds.
Slay!
very good bro
Zither style? Or all romantic music sounds that way
Not intentionally going for zither style but I hear what you mean! Eddie Lang came from an Italian background, I imagine there could certainly be some crossover with his guitar style and zither music.. I could hear this fitting in with the Third Man soundtrack! :)
