Yunxi is not to blame for her father's sins, but this culture blames entire families for the crimes of one member, so Feiye is very conflicted here. He loves Yunxi but hates her father, on top of that he is dying and does not want Yunxi to watch him die, so he's pushing her away.

Ever since his uncle died, the Crown Prince has become even more reckless, despite his promise to his uncle to be better and wiser. I was really hoping he would have some growth and understanding, but without proper guidance and a voice of reason, he's stuck making the same mistakes as always. Bummer. We could have had a really interesting character with him.

He's lived out his usefulness in the plot. From a story telling perspective. It's very likely and very common that he dies. If he doesn't. He's just another side character that's stashed away somewhere until the story ends and he shows up to congratulate the happy couple. He has more sentimental value if he dies now then live.
She had a selfish, very self centered personality to start with, coupled by a rich lifestyle. So the poison at each level was just icing on an already poor cake, so to speak. Spoiler alert: I believe that is why ultimately Poison Girl’s hearts blood was the remedy for the Prince’s poisoning. She had the love, purity of heart and right mix of tribal blood poisoning inherited from her father. Jealousy, hate and manipulation is not the recipe to save anyone or the ingredient to receive love.

Since this episode I didn't commented anything. But now I just want to express my point of view. First of all I can't like even a little Gu Qishao, I'm sorry for his story, but I find his character so unable to like, i might be very biased as I totally love the characters of Prince Qin and Yunxi and I want a happy ending for them. I've seen people debating about who is good and who is bad in this cdrama. In my opinion Prince Quin and Yunxi are good. I totally hate Mingxian and if I hear her voice one more time I will explode. Anyway althought many of the characters have a sad story I find Prince Qin's the saddest and I love his being, I find him a very good person, who doesn't care only about revenge but also about people life conditions. And he cares so much of Yunxi that's true love. Also Yunxi's character is so well made, we have finally a true intelligent heroine that isn't annoying, her's only fault is the too much trust that she gives to the wrong people especially to Gu Qishao.
Well, I dont like Gu Qishao but dont hate him either. The one I hate the most till this episode is Minxiang. Like ugh!
