In a recent podcast he said he never wanted an investment all he wanted was 12 minutes airtime and to get that he had to be controversial he had read the rules and knew exactly what he was doing. It was all about advertising and he said the phone was hopping after the show aired
I wonder have any of the dragons listened to Donal on the recent wood from the trees podcast, he had no intention of taking any of their offers and just wanted to promote his business on TV
These dragons talk out of both sides of their mouths. He says, that is a big red flag and therefore does not want to invest because he has serious doubts as to the success of the venture, then a minute later says he is SURE he will be successful as the guy walks out the door. Well, if you were sure he was going to be successful you would have invested. It's like they feel obligated to throw them a compliment to make up for the blow of telling them they are not investing. "I have serious doubts as to the viablity of this business, and for that reasion I can not invest." The guy then walks out. "You know, I am sure he will be successful."
They don't give a shit about the business, it's only really about their own image they care about, dragons den is a pretty good way of burning money if you invested in half the businesses that are pitched. Most businesses you see never get any money after the due diligence procedure is carried out, I wonder why.
The company is called "big red barn" and its hook is that its literally an "American style barn". Thats kind of the hook is that its red. As for advertising on the sides of the barn, again for an event it will probably cost you a minimum of $10,000 to vinyl a decent sized part of it. That being said, he did say he could have them produced in other colors.

Would have done better if the barn was a nuetral color and the organisers are allowed to use advertising.
