I am having problems to connect my Neo to RC2 controller too. I have done all the updates & Neo is on the connection guide screen as an option but it still fails to connect. Does anyone have any ideas?
@@veryadequate Thanks for your reply. I ended up buying a cheap phone just for Neo in the end because the dji app wasn't compatible with my original phone. I have got Neo connected to RC2 controller now & everything works fine now. Have flown Neo indoors, just waiting for good weather to try outdoors. Thanks for your help, really appreciated!
I spent 90 minutes on the phone with DJI support trying to get my Neo paired to my RC2. They had me downloading drivers to my computer, updating my computer and no success. I come here and read the comments and connect to my phone and 5 minutes later I’m flying😅😅
I did 3 updates as prompted, Neo was shown as option, then the manual pairing as you showed on RC2. Still no luck. Any suggestions? Finally got it to bind by binding and activating on my phone first. Heavens, that was painful.
I had the same problem. For me, it turned out to be my phone that was the problem, the DJI Fly App wasn't compatible. I bought a cheap refurbished Apple iphone SE3 just for Neo, from CeX shop. That did the trick, the app works fine on that phone & connecting Neo was so easy after that. Good luck!
I´m despairing of dji. I could not get my neo to connect and activate using my phone, now I see people having similar problems with the rc2. I think I´ll return my neo and forget dji.
I’ve had this POS two days and it will not connect period. Two RC2 units and a neo. Hell no, won’t connect for anything. Not even manual. Won’t connect a god damn thing. Have mini pro4 and air 2 all great. This f-ing neo refuses. I’m a “failed pairing” away from stomping it into pieces. God damn tired of rhis

You need to connect the Neo to your phone first. Update the firmware on the Neo, then you can connect it to the RC2.

can you fly Neo with RC2 in FPV mode? do you have such setting? I have it on my mini4 pro
