This is TALENT. Not crappy songs without great vocals lol. Bom and Minzy voice are AMAZING, CL was sick but sound great, Dara tired but still feel fresh. Only 2NE1 can be this good while is sick.
that's not just talent, it is also DEDICATION for their craft.. that's why they are so easy to be liked and loved.. sick or tired they don't it affect their performance..

being sick is not an excuse if your a performer because if you really love what your doing and is dedicated to it you will still do your best... that is why I like them....
The meaning of this song is deep.. Cl wrote it based on her real story... About her ex...
Even Bom being a weak vocalist still an amazing performer with one of the most wonderful and admirable dedication

It's unhealthy for your voice duh, there are so many reasons why you shouldn't be singing sick, just google it.
Jonas Simonsen It actually makes plenty of sense. When one becomes sick, they have auto immune responses and one is the lymph nodes in the throat inflame. It makes it hard for laryngeal movement and dehydrates the larynx which gives that scratchy feeling in the throat and the over all soreness when you get a bad cold. Ultimately, its not the brightest idea to sing while sick because it could be damaging if you don't know the fundamentals of the human voice. It could permanently alter the shape of the vocal folds and cause damage. When one is sick, mucus and swelling causes the folds not to vibrate properly as is. Its not to say that one can't sing while being sick, it just means that one has to have resounding skill to pull of singing while sick, and TBH, none of the girls in this group are that skilled. Going back to think, not many people in pop music are skilled enough to navigate passages while sick. And that is utterly saddening. I only can imagine the time when singers actually had reliable vocal coaches and had years and years of practice under their belt. Those days are long gone. Thankfully, youtube has clips of those great singers from the good old days. It just saddens me to think that fans are so blind to nominate this as a great performance. Not to say 2NE1 are terrible, they are indeed one of the best in K-pop as of this time, but ever since the 70s the standards on what it means to be a singer has dropped majorly and I'm just mad because I'm apart of a very ignorant generation (No offense to anyone though!!!!)

I’m in love with her long black hair, she definitely is wearing extensions because she chopped off her hair by the end of 2013 but the way she moves and make her hair move is just beautiful especially when she dances!

CL and Bommie are so full of emotions, it brought me to tears. Minzy's voice is love and I really like Dara's parts too, it really suits her. Great performance, I've been loving all their perf of "If I were you" but I love this one in particular. I was shocked when I read in the comments that CL was sick, it doesn't seem to affect her rendition of the song at all.
Ughh CL keeps making me love her! There's so much emotion when she sings. MINZY just keeps on getting better and better. BOMMIE perfect voice as always :) and DARA i love that soft, sweet voice ;) But the only thing is Dara has like only 1 or 2 lines. Seriously.
after all the years of me watching this video, I just realize that the light changes based on their 2ne1 colours when each member sings their part. Like Bom is green, Minzy is purple, but Dara's and CL's colour got mixed up.

Everytime I watch them perform this song live, I can really feel and see the emotion in CL. I don't know what it is, I know CL is a very strong charismatic performer who always converts her emotions on stage, but when it comes to this song.. It's a different type of feeling. You can see the anger, frustration, and sadness in her eyes and voice. It's like you can easily read her emotions. Whoever broke CL's heart should regret it. I feel like even though she has such a strong personality, she'd be the type of girl to easily let down her walls when it comes to loving someone. Hopefully, that person didn't take advantage of it to their fullest.

I love Dara's voice. I think it brings all of them together. It might not be powerful, but you can feel her emotion. CL she's so UGHHH I love her in here. Bom too and Minzy. 2NE1 is good with their emotions
omg. CL at the end. so much emotions. now, i read a lot of comments why Dara should've had that soft part at the end. i don't necessarily disagree with it but i don't agree with it either. it's just that the way CL expresses this song -her song- is very emotional and top notch. i know Dara's forte is her soft voice but i doubt she can pull off the emotions, hurt and expressiveness as well as CL does.

Oh cool. I actually thought about that last part in the end... Because she had few lines and that soft part would totally fit her. I was curious how the song would turn out if she sang that last part but I liked it finished by CL. 😁

The goosebumps I get when I hear this song done live, every time. I think this was the first time that I started crying too. I can't believe how amazing their voices have become, and their performances in general. Also, their make-up and fashion otherwise is beautiful. So much to love.

Everytime is listen to this song, i can´t help thinking the last part was for dara (or even minzy) dara has an awesome falsetto and she can express emotions without looking/sounding force, besides you can tell CL forces her voice for that part and straining your voice is not a good thing in the long term

In Roommate, Park Bom went directly to SBS Ingikayo without any sleep. Poor girls and they even went to a fan signing event after SBS Ingikayo. Amazing how they can still perform with so much passion. This performance was featured in roommate yesterday.
I love Bom unnie in Roommate, and how everyone is so close that they gathered to watch it and vote for them, and Nana visiting them backstage, and fangirling about hugging Cl, so cute!
Lol Roommate is the best...it shows how late into the day they work...Bom gets home like around 4 am every night...these ladies need a round of applause not criticism.

Can people just shut up about 2NE1's voices? They are tired, they didn't sleep during 4days already. Kbjs said that CL was sick and frustated because of her voice. You can see that Bom's voice is weak too. Their schedule is hard and, they have no rest. They did extremely well before but they can do nothing when their voice are tired and sick as fuck. Just support them and enjoy their music and their love for us.

I love CL's passion and emotion every time she sings this song. I feel like she's really expressing the pain of an unresolved love so well. Everyone else does really well with this too, no doubt, but CL totally seems heartbroken like the song implies. It really draws me into the song for some reason.

+dandelions Since CL wrote the song, the last part was hers because it shows the pain she felt. If you look up their performance with Lee Hi, you can see she cried at her last part, not being able to finish. It wouldn't have the same feel if Dara sung it, because it was for CL and CL only. Not saying Dara isn't talented, I'm just saying that it doesn't have the same emotion.

One of my fave song of 2ne1. When Bom and Minzy sang together on the latter part, I have goosebumps! As well as when CL and Dara is singing. I really miss them. I hope they will surprise us before the 2021 ends.
Everyone keeps saying that either Cl or Minzy will take over Park Bom's position as being the main vocalist due to the fact that both CL and Minzy got more lines. There are several reasons why YG chose Bom as the main vocalist, as a matter of fact, I'm not even gonna clarify WHY she has that position because she already proved it many times from the beginning whe she hit those REDICLOUS high notes of the songs: FIRE, IN THE CLUB, and IT HURTS! Park Bom needs sing high notes again as well as Dara needs to get more lines. Furthermore, Minzy has def the right to get a solo and CL needs to do what she does best! #BLACKJACK

Yasmine A-t well, they are. Just try to look at their videos in a more analytical way and you'll se that Bom frequently sounds tense and her sentences sound disconnected. And she's also often off pitch.
