STUFFED IT AT SUMTER SPEEDWAY; Learning things the hard way in the dirt late model

- We had a rough night down in Sumter, South Carolina, over the weekend racing with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series.
I think we showed up to the racetrack with a decent car and in hot laps we had some speed. The car wasn't amazing, but we were at least in the ball park.
I had a lap 1 spin over the banking in turn 1 and after hot laps we made changes to tighten the car in response to that spin.
Those changes turned out to be too much and the car was way too tight in qualifying starting us near the back of the feature race.
In the feature we got hung up on a few cars and got stranded on the top lane on a bottom dominant race track.
Pulling into the hot pit area on lap 30, I hit a mud pile wrong and it was like the car was on ice.
Despite my best efforts, the car slid directly into the end of the pit wall and stuffed the nose.
Luckily, it does not appear that anything critical is hurt; just a nose and a front bumper.
We'll get things fixed up and get back in the saddle ASAP and we are going to learn from the mistakes we made throughout the night and come back better next time.
Huge thanks to everyone that visited us in the pits; that means a lot to me and the rest of the guys on the team!
Thank you for watching!

More good from the night than bad. It's easy to see the big mistakes, hard to see the little wins. Keep digging!
Yeah that’s true!
Nothing a bit of seat time and laps won’t solve. Keep digging!
Yep, just have to keep learning from each night
We went and watched went to practice Friday made 5 laps and threw the driveshaft
Man that sucks! We threw one out first time we ran the car this year
