I love Sherwood Gardens. I also think it is important to mention how the Roland Park Company (RPC), and its product, Guilford, were Jim Crow racial projects that influenced national American racial oppression that still exists today. I really appreciate your videos + non-profit. It is just hard hear about the RPC and not shudder at the continued race & class segregation in our city today.
Thanks for another excellent 5 minute video. We love Sherwood Gardens!
I grew up in northeast Baltimore and never knew about this. Baltimore has so must rich history!
We are continuing to learn ourselves!
Love this place - grew up loving it too. The tulip dig is really something extraordinary.
I would love to take a visit there. It's Beautiful!
These gardens are one of my favorite places in Baltimore. Thanks for the feature, and for all the great work with the channel! Love your energy!
Thank you for watching Laura!
I'd add the Shot Tower, the Rawlings Conservatory, and the Mount Washington Octagon to the "7 Wonders of Baltimore" list!
childhood memories
Wonderful, as always, Johns. I walk/run up there almost every day, and it really is a glorious gift to the city.
Another great piece. I have participated in the wandering through as well as the digging up of bulbs. Truly a Baltimore wonder!
hopefully I will visit next spring.
Its on our calendar too.
Other suggestions for the "Wonders of Baltimore" list: The Patterson Park Pagoda/Observatory and Greenmount Cemetery.

Good idea but the actual video showed one person standing in one spot, and nothing else of the gardens! (which were clearly in season for the tulips.)
