1:27 is such a perfect scenario so reminiscent of every horror movie ever made. man calls to buddy on radio-radio silence, man confides in friend only to realize friend is missing, before he has a chance to react he is killed. So incredibly cliché but so cool it actually happened in a game
VR is barebones right now, it reminds me of 1990's games, in 30 years we have such a huge progress in normal games, imagine progress VR will have in another 60 years, probably it will become realistic as real life and controller would have full body support like you will move your everything like in real life
the "I know it's the real Toten because he's on the cope" immediately followed by his death nearly caused my end

Pavlov went from VR shooter to physiological horror with nightmares beyond comprehension.
“Fun” fact about the mode: as the monster/demon/whatever you call it you can “taunt” the humans with a few voice lines by pressing (at least on shack) the right stick. Very fun to see the humans’ reactions. >:)
Basically, you get to play as a horror movie slasher, but the stealthy kind like micheal myers.

It's The Predator from AvP. Idk why it's called The Hidden when it really isn't.
@@wesleyward5901 Because it's based off the source mod called "The Hidden" which was the monster's name, and the mod was admittedly inspired by the Predator films (heavily armed professional soldiers being hunted by invisible creature who prefers ambushes and melee). But calling it The Hidden instead of calling it the Predator allows the game mode to be simple in mechanics to pull off the invisible man vs. soldiers scenario without being pressured to make the set up accurate to the Predator games (putting in more refined parkour, adding plasma cannons, using alien tech, etc.). It also helps avoid copyright issues in case the copyright owners decide to be a jerkass and go after them for some reason.

I remember the kinda O-G The Hidden compilation video, the one with Born To Be Bone music, and the 2015-17-ish era of Seananners. Utterly legendary content, super-memeable, and if you think about it, it's where the popularity for paranoia and asymmetric games started incubating. Seeing a VR remake was a trip down memory lane, hope we can get more content of Ignis Corp's insane people getting their freak enabled.
