You said, "kinda reminds me of Spiderman with the red suit, the humor and the talking". Well there is this moment in the comics where Deadpool, Spiderman, and Daredevil team up and they call themselves TEAM RED. Now that Charlie Cox as Daredevil and Ryan Reynold's Deadpool are all in the MCU, now we can have TEAM RED in the movies!!!

I am so glad that Ryan Reynolds managed to make this as he is amazing as Deadpool. The supersuit green and animated is of course a reference to Green Lantern that flopped majorly. Oh and the end is taken from Ferris Bueler's Day Off another great fourth wall break movie. I also love how they gave Negasonic Teenage Warhead actual powers as her original power was seeing her own death 10 minutes before it happened.

The thing I love most was the he was technically honest when he said "That guy was already here when I got here." If you slow down the movie you can see the body be slammed against the sign seconds before Deadpool gets there.

If I remember right...Angel Dust was in the middle of Class 5 in strength (able to lift around 25 tons), while Colossus is Class 6 (able to lift up to 100 tons). Angel's strength is tied to her adrenaline levels, which she can boost, but it's only temporary.
If Colossus wasn't holding back I doubt she'd have stood any chance, but it does make for an interesting appearance of a relatively unknown character. I like them both.
Through all of the X-Men movies from any director this was, hands down, the best depiction of Colossus.

@@chrispinvidic51 Yeah, they leveled a whole bar, lol. Unfortunately Colossus never seems to do well against Juggernaut, probably because Juggernaut's strength is technically unlimited (based on how much power Cyttorak allows him to use).
Always find it amusing that Colossus ended up being the most powerful Juggernaut in existence, after Cyttorak bestowed his powers onto him (renamed to 'Unstoppable Colossus' temporarily) :D

When he did the end credit scene and said that Cable was going to be in the next movie, we all cheered.
There’s an ongoing funny feud between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, who were both n X-Men Origins: Wolverine, where he played a different version of Wade Wilson.
The end credits scene is a tribute to the classic comedy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (which you MUST see) which has the most famous end credits scene, because you were forced to watch more scenes as the credits rolled.

For those that dont know, Deadpool is an ANTI-HERO. He is like an evil villain that fights other villains. He may do good things and help people, but the way he does so goes against laws and he doesnt care if innocent people get hurt in the process. A good example is that if he was sent to your house to end your rodent problem, he would bring a flamethrower and burn down your house. In the end, he gets his results, but didn't use the least damaging method, like just putting rat poison out.

In the opening scenes, when the wallet on a chain is flying about the SUV in slow motion, you can see a Green Lantern Hal Jordan trading card flying out of it. That and the People magazine with Ryan Reynolds on the cover make for great easter eggs.

Deadpool is one of my favorite all time comic movies just because of its humor. I was crying from laughter when i saw it at the theater. lol
Best thing about it, everybody loves Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds is RDJ as Iron Man level casting, but in this case, he's been trying to get the movie made for years. Watch the Blade Trilogy because A) 1 and 2 are awesome, B) Blade Trinity (3) is basically Ryan Reynold's feature length audition for Deadpool, and has the greatest insult I have ever heard.

Special Matches with a white tip (Potassium chlorate) allow a match to be lit on any surface including a finger nail... regular matches do not have this and won't light on any surface... the more you know.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but for Deadpool 1 & 2 even though it's Marvel it's owned by a different studio/company so that's why he's not in the Avengers world.
The film rights for Deadpool and the X-Men are owned by 20th Century Fox. As well as Fantastic Four and some other properties. The same can be said about Spider-Man, under Sony, and Hulk under Universal. Back- I believe in the 90's, when Marvel was on the verge of Bankruptcy, and had to sell off their high-end properties to stay in business. Which is the main reason why the MCU started out with Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor; as those properties film right went back to Marvel after those 'respected' studios failed to provide any product or plan before their contracts expired.
However, Disney has purchased 20th Century Fox since Deadpool 1 and 2's release, and now owns these characters. Dark Phoenix was the last "Marvel" property released before Disney and Marvel took over. And it has already been confirmed that Deadpool 3 and Fantastic Four will be a part of the MCU soon.

So at the time this movie was made the movie rights to Deadpool and Xmen were licensed to Fox Studios. That is why they couldn’t be in movies with Avengers. Avengers is owned by Marvel and Disney (not Fox). Recently Disney bought the rights back for Xmen and Deadpool so they can be used in future Avengers movies. Deadpool 2 was made by Fox as well, but Deadpool 3 will be by Disney and may include some Avengers.
Technically, Disney didn't buy the rights back, they bought Fox Studios.
The thing is…Ryan Reynolds is pretty much like this in real life. 😂

You need Strike Anywhere Matches for it to work because they have both chemicals on the match, you can't do it with normal matches because one part is on the match and the other is on the box.
I’m ugly and alive! Jokes aside this is probably the best “superhero” movie. Or just best movie in general.
Well Deadpool is more of a "anti-hero". Not a villain because he doesn't hurt innocent people or just wants to cause harm but he's also not a hero who wants to save people no matter what and serve the greater good. He's just looking for himself and the ones dear to him without caring if he has to kill or torture people for it.

If the inside of the pipe supplying pure oxygen was lined with pure Velcro or nylon (both known to be highly flammable in oxygen-rich environments, and were major contributors to the fire on Apollo 1 back in 1967), _then_ it would be a different story that raises red flags in the plot. Of course, this is the movie - you don't always need to be accurate, you just need to create drama.
