That's pretty impressive! Would be great in the woods around here on all the trails I used to ride dirt bikes and ATV's on - back in my home town outside Worcester, MA, the minute you start one up, the cops are on their way. Sad. Everyone I knew had dirt bikes in the 80's - we used to go everywhere on them. So much fun. This could be the new chapter!
I've added another hobby to my list. I still have my '74 Yamaha RD350 2-stroke I restored 10 years ago, but I sold my ATV and bought a paramotor. No license or registration required, and if people complain about noise, you just gain altitude and the noise goes away. Right up my alley. :)

Retired now, but I use to fly cargo jumbo jets...worldwide. We flew in and out of China. The Chinese government was extremely strict when using the internet. They blocked web sites that they didn't want want their people to see or hear about. I believed that everything internet related from foreigners in hotels was recorded. I liked the people but hated the Government.

Hey, that is very cool hobby! I ride bicycles myself and recentrly sold my moto, don't have a car yet and planning on investing in one custom e-bike with 750W Bafang motor :D (It's normal hybrid bicycle with bolt on Bafang kit and 14V battery)

First ever RepoNut colab! Nice. Utah has allot of popular RUclipsrs. They are mostly unrelated, like The Stradman Supercar channel, but there is some towing and recovery (not repo) channels like Matt's Offroad who is growing like wildfire. Keep up the colabs and focus on stuff like this. You will grow your channel more quickly than repo content. Also, just a suggestion.....change the intro. It reminds me of the time where things were weird.
I would like to have seen what it took to mount the motor to the unusual headset. Nice to see this can done.
Lean down into handle bars .it will go faster..I wonder if you take a piece of aluminum fold a v shape put on nose If it would help wind drag ? Looks like fun matt✌

It's true with everything, most interesting tech is last decades new tech but now it's affordable. For example VR is like 20+year old technology, of course it's improved hugely and also price has dropped to a tiny fraction.

I rode motorcycle many years but the arthritis in my back precludes me from this activity now... My new addictions are writing music and growing pumpkins and popcorn...

You know Matt that's a sign of getting old getting an electric bike kind of defeats the purpose of you getting your exercise it's going to make you lazy hahaha that is a pretty cool project though you will probably really enjoy that bike
If you stay off the throttle and rely on pedal assist you can still get a good workout in. You just go faster and further and going up hills isn't so demoralizing. Faster = fun and fun means you'll want to ride more. A store that seemed too far away to bike to is suddenly within range: every time you decide to take a bike instead of a car that's exercise you wouldn't have gotten otherwise.
There are an absolute ton of gravel and dirt roads in his area that would be a blast to explore on a bike like that. If you've never explored Utah on a satellite view you have no idea just how extensive the trails, roads and mining paths out there are.

One fast way to get e-bikes banned from sidewalks and walking paths is to be unsafe and rude.
All it will take is to seriously injure one little old person or child while passing them at a high rate of speed to get e-bikes relegated to streets.
Dust someone walking a very large dog and see how quickly complaints are loged. I've got some Rottweilers that really don't like bikes and will give chase. Had a guy ride within a couple feet of one of my dogs and get all surprised that the dog reacted badly.

@@philipkarsten9859 I used to ride bicycle, about 5,000 miles a year. I stayed off walk paths just as I expect pedestrians to use walk paths and not roads.
But there is room for both if people act reasonably.
I can understand dogs behaving friendly with people but not bicycles.
