Some FSs kills just because the metal effect is out, others 'cause they take more than the effective time of the metal box, and the effect is out by the final blow.
I think the Final Smashes that create cutscenes automatically negate the metal.

I agree. These and the ones that make auto-KO on a sufficient % like Zelda or Sora with KO but no ejection. The most impressive are the ones that KO with sheer power : DK, Bowser, etc...

That’s what I was gonna say. I don’t think cutscenes are affected by metal.
Every cutscene clears all effects and items, so Kirby is no longer metal after the initial hit.
For context, as Bayonetta when using her ultimate, you literally have to hit an opponent enough to trigger it

In a game being Bayonetta one is not going to stand still waiting for the final smash to finish...the essence of that final smash is to attack to activate the real final smash...it seems unfair that in all the final smash challenges Bayonetta is left still without using her final smash :(

Bayonetta's Final Smash requires the player to deal damage to opponents to activate its true effect, so Bayonetta should be allowed to deal damage through her moveset when, & only when, the effects of her Final Smash's first stage are active.
In Final Smash challenges, I mean.
I guess you don't know how to use Bayonetta's smash, since she can move around she can also attach so you hitting Kirby is just apart of her smash as well. Once the clock on the Bottom is full it will activate a cinematic attack. If you mash the buttons whille this cutscene takes place it will do more DMG

The same could be said for Pacman, Ness, and Lucas. They absolutely would have killed with any compotent player input. But after seeing Bayonetta I realized that not inputing is part of their tests i guess, which screws bayonetta every single time. Especially on this one when Bayonetta's FS kills at 100+ no matter what if you actually activate it

Also I'm not too mad about this but he didn't do shin shoryuken with ryu and didn't do shinryuken with ken!?!?!?

I think the character’s final smash has to be long enough so that the metal effect will end before the final smash ends
Or just have a cutscene final smash that removes all effects on the opponent

42 Super Smash Bros Ultimate characters did KO Metal Kirby with a Final Smash, but 47 Super Smash Bros Ultimate characters did not.
Nice work for Final Smash as Star Fox 30th Anniversary hits Metal Kirby, Fox McCloud, Falco Lombardi and Wolf O'Donnell.

I have several gripes with this video… first off Bayonetta’s final smash only works when you attack so thats not fair on her part, Ryu has two final smashes, and they forgot to include Shin Shoryuken (Ken’s second final smash I understand but come on)

Pretty sure for some of them the metal crate just ran out prematurely, or did you try multiple times? Like for example do the Link's triforce slash always cleanse the metal effect like the cutscene final smashes?

I also just noticed Young link could make it because the metal got removed and it's not really a cutscene. Prowder would need to make Kirbi looting the metal box when the opponent is ready to use final smash, not before.

You included Piranha Plant in the Success counter even though he didn't KO Kirby, but Joker wasn't counted when he did KO Kirby.
He also forgot to put Marth and Lucinia on there.
By the way, when you use bayonetta's fs, activate her Inferno climax instead of her just standing there, for example, hit Kirby with her jab until the gauge is full
Thing is that the damage she would deal to Kirby would influence the end result to the point that the result wouldn't be with her FS alone.

Of course Fox, Falco and Wolf made it! I mean- Most of the enemies from the franchise they come from are made out of metal! (While Wolf isn’t in the team Star Fox, I’m pretty sure he’s as used to it as his archenemy.)

For me it didn't count because the metal effect got removed before the very end of his hits. Rewatch carefully.

All of the final smashes that go to their own cutseen instead of staying on the stage KO's kirby due to it removing his steel armor, which all of dlc have in common. And Marth and lucina ain't marked as success.
For real. They finished Kirby with just one slash and he immediately flew away. They totally deserved it to be here.

The rules are simple: The character must be at 150% which is the Max rage cap with Stale moves on. The character has to use an attack that deals the most knockback to Shield monado art Shulk at 0%. The character also might use Xerneas' Geomancy, Super Mushroom, Backfired Lightning and Vince, even Max Aura Lucario, Incineroar's Revenge, Kirby using Shulk's Smash art, Hero's Psyche Up and Oomph, Wii Fit Trainer's Deep Breathing, Sephiroth's winged form and Kazuya's rage state.
However they can't use Riki or Palkia's Spacial Rend in Spear Pilar to boost the knockback Shulk takes, Custom Balance must be turned off.
It must be done on center stage of a Omega Form / Final Destination
Some characters only need a required amount of damage bonuses to OHKO Shield art Shulk at 0%
I don’t think Kirby should get to use copy abilities. I think characters should only be able to rely on their own abilities without bringing other characters into this.
Like I say, when a move is fresh (where it lands an hit on a opponent, etc. for the first time), the move will have an ×1.05 damage boost.
The stale queue is reset if the character gets KO'd.

However, only the difference in the resulting damage percentage is accounted for in knockback calculation, and not the damage increase itself, so Copy Abilities can KO only slightly earlier than the original moves; for example, Kirby's standard Falcon Punch deals 30% compared to Falcon's 25%, so with no other damage or knockback modifiers, it will KO 5% earlier.

I think you should consider redoing this one since some final smashes' durations last longer than the metal power (or some just breaking off the metal in general). Custom rules, full metal characters, sure it'll take time to get Kirby to the appropriate damage percentage, but it will give more consistent results.
Nah, this is fine. FS that get to last long enough for the Metal Power to vanish (or that eliminate it entirely) just manage to be good enough to be able to access said loophole.

Seems like if the FS has a cut cinematic then it's a success
Something about practice mode doesn't seem like a good enough test due to the metal coat wearing off mid final smash.
Special brawl would have been better for this.
Unfortunately some of the final smashes heavily real on the weight of the character to make lunching them easier and more likely to k.o em
