MPL ID average games are around 14-16 mins.. so it's a disadvantage to them once the game goes to 20+ mins in which MPL PH games averages in.. 20+mins games are basically PH Teams territory.. congratz to RSG.. and still a good run for RRQ, respect.. can't wait for M4

I do think they really need to add their player roster bcs the reason of rrq losing is very much obvious; while ph teams focus on how they can adapt in a match regardless of how many kills they lost at the beginning, it seems like rrq are focused on early game and their heroes were barely changing despite it's already losing in first match, resulting in another losses in following matches. They even tried copying the rsg heroes but ended losing as well. It's not about the heroes, it's about their priority and strategy. Also it's clear that they're not adept enough to use rsg's meta compared to how rsg used them. U can clearly see how they're panicly do the skills and so on (karina panic WT, xavier panic ult). It feels like the skill gap between rrq using their main hero with their reserve main hero is way tooooo big ?? I'm rrq fan from malay but for some reason, take an example from vyn; it feels like vyn when using other roamers are nothing compared to his franco at all...same to clay's yve and his xavier and skylar's claude and his brody😅

It's clear that OMEGA esports had an impact on how RSG played in grandfinals, and if you look at game 2, RSG picked Xavier and Masha combo which they got from OMEGA esports. Including other teams' impact on one's own gameplay is not a derogatory or disgrace. Plus, they're both PHILIPPINE teams vying for the CHAMPIONSHIP, so it's not hard to believe that OMEGA esports lend a helping hand to RSG in the grand finals.

I think what Indo lacks 1st is ADAPTIBILITY. Look how Blacklist won the slot for Grand Finals against BTK even though they lost in a series in competing in upper bracket in M3. And now look how RSG just sweep Indo in a Best of 7 during the Grand Finals when they just only won 1 game during the match for a slot in Grand Finals. I think PH Teams are good at finding what the oponent weakness when they lost a game. PH Teams learn from their mistake they think that if they lost atleast they gain experience. And the 2nd thing that Indo lack against is a STRONG MENTALITY. Look how RSG always lost in early game same as Blacklist but they never gave OH and same as OMEGA if you hit the 18 min mark. The RRQ always got tilted if they don't have an advantage in a clash. While the PH Teams always thinks of a way how they can turn around like how Ch4knu, Light, and Hadji's Kagura in M3 just in one set can fuck you up. You can see in the players cam how frustrated they are and I think they need to work on it. And the last thing they lack for me is PATIENCE in almost everything. They always have the upper hand but they always fuck up when the game is near to the end and they can't close it. They lack timing in aiming their skill shots HAH and what was that Winter Truncheon and Xavier Ult. This is a mistake you can do when you are intimidated by your oponent. So I understand where the problem is. RSG PH play style is like "Yeah boy you can have the Lord." And then RRQ used a lot of their skillshoot and ability, and then RSG PH counter attack them and boom. The problem in game 1 and 2 is time death, you can have the Lord, but when you die, you have no objective to do. RRQ Hoshi is so dominant in early game. Both team played well.
They do technical meeting before the game to minimize problem when game. And No Pause here. Yeah there still, but a little. Gg RSG, Nt RRQ. I learned so much in Philippine game style a little here.
Aside from the very first and only pause of the game during the very start of game 1.. and that pause was requested by RRQ hoshi
After that, no more PAUSES,
I watched the game live, while explaining what is happening to my Mom who is curious of my shouting, and there is no PAUSE IN THE SERIES aside from the one asked by RRQ

I don't think the scoreline justifies how close most of the games actually were. Yes, it was a clean sweep, but it very easily could have been 3-1 for one side or 2-2, instead of it being 4-0. A big applause for RSG for understanding and breaking RRQ in the drafts because without their key heroes, Franco and Claude, their drafts became too easy to read. Here are some reasons why I think RRQ failed to get even a single point in Grand Finals:
1. Albert is not good with Akai or any non-assassin and non-hard carry junglers. He clearly has not been able to adapt to the Tank Meta Jungler, and you can see that he immediately lacked the confidence in playing Akai when RRQ chose Akai first pick, but then gave it to R7, their EXP laner in Game 2.
2. Skylar's hero pool is too small. Without his Claude, Skylar doesn't shine at all even with a 10 K gold lead in their hands (e.g., Game 1 where RRQ was winning until it hit 20 minutes). He doesn't play Wanwan, and if he does, he's not confident enough because RRQ always chooses to ban it even if they were first pick.
3. Albert loses to Demonkite in terms of the Retri Battle, and that's why he always need support from R7 or VYN to disrupt Demonkite to even have a fighting chance of winning the lord fight.
4. RSG is better at fighting in the Lord than RRQ (e.g., in Game 3, RSG won the lord fight in a 5 v 3 situation [RSG in disadvantage], and although the lord was taken by RRQ, RRQ got wiped out except for Albert)
Finally, I'd like to give applause to Clay who I believe played best in the roster of RRQ, understanding fully his role as a mage carry and his positions were all on point.

I'm proud to be a pinoy but we need something out of indo teams, we need excitements in every tournaments . Its very redundant to see PH overpowering all of SEA teams that attended international tournaments . You cant call yourself King of Kings and never won any title outside indonesia. People always compare PH and Indo but in reality , PH is more advance . Indo teams needs to step up or they will be overtaken by other sea teams like Myanmar

To those who said that RSG had a hard time getting that 4-0 score, read this!
The first 3 games, RSG PH are dragging it to the late game. Yes, it looks really close, but the 2 late game heroes RSG PH prepared are well-farmed and has the gold they need (emann&aqua)... early in the game, nathzz always try to drag the game, light makes small engage, light does his things taking turtles and contesting lord. BUT, there's a huge BUT about all this, it was expected that RRQ will win in the early game by their draft, but when it's late game, even veewise can tell by just looking at the draft that it is RSG game and they swept the 4 games through. THE GAME HAS TO BE LONG SO THE RSG PH DRAFT WILL WORK. REMEMBER THAT.
Not just that RRQ was overconfident
In game one draft was fine until nathzz picked Esme and R7 picked dyroth while nathz and RSG had a plan RRQ solely picked it to counter him
If u look closely nathz in. Game one and two with his esme and Masha was straight up going for backline and giving them hard time in team fight while R7 was trying to take him down so that gave RSG cores to do their job
Also RSG players had one task at a time at any given situation but RRQ took multiple tasks at a time if it's Albert with Akai zoning and taking objective or R7 having to zone and focus his target or even backline trying to do damage or trying to save themselves and Vyn being confused wheather to make play or save backline
While RSG had a plan nathzz for distributing backline Light for getting setup demonkite only for taking objective and farming backline saty at safe distance and do dmg
RRQ had this dilemma in all four games

@@disconinja397 I totally agree. And time and time again, RRQ always had a hard time doing 20+ mins games as the average indo games are 14-16 mins. Meanwhile PH is so used to really long games. That, I think, is also one of the many advantages as a PH representative. I can see that when the game is 18mins, RRQ is starting to get confused about where to go, who to focus on, do we engage or play safe.. this is the huge difference against the PH team, even the 30 minute mark, the team still has plans and can turn the table around. You see how RSG turned the lead from 5k to nothing just by Lord bait in the late game. That's how the PH team shines mostly; in the late game.

@@disconinja397 even the Brody pick was really weird, there was really nothing they could have done against barats and lolita, maybe they thought they could choke RSG early and didn't draft for late game. I was shocked at how they drafted. But if you watched coach Bon Chan's yt videos (blacklist coach) there's one that is entitled how to decode RRQ, he said that they need to make RRQ react to RSG draft, in that way you push them to play your game. Like you said, dyrot for Esme. There's also one thing that's always been an issue for RRQ, a limited hero pool. Explains why Skylar fell short when Claude was priobanned, vyn wasn't much of a help bc no Franco, alberttt's mechanical skill is not fit to the meta.

I love how RSG adapted so quickly and so well, realizing that VYN is the linchpin for RRQ. Banning out Franco and respect ban for Skylar's Claude will put RRQ in a tight spot and forcing them to fight RSGs game, and ultimately defeating the King of Kings. GGS for both of teams 🇵🇭💛

Casters predicted it ever since falcon vs rsg. They said you don't want to face against rsg, because of how quickly they study and learn their opponents. And yes rrq 3-1'd them in upler bracket finals but look how rsg proved the casters in the grandfinals..

I feel like RRQ keep trying the same strategy over and over in these matches, except for the last one where they failed miserably both in draft and execution.
I even feel like they should have just tried some other variations of heroes or even try to bring out lemon for change of pace.
But does anyone know what their fatal mistakes are in these games other than their mental getting crushed down for consecutive losses?
I feel like their whole thing in their last matches were not as good except for the match beforehand where they surprised them with new stuff with Benedetta tank and Claude in semi.
After that? Damn they don't have anything anymore within their chests when I thought that in the semi final, they still play close to the chest.
The fact that they went all out in the semi just shows how strong RSG is to RRQ.
Anyway I hope that teaches us lessons though, and I just hope we could also win the next international cup!

Nothing. RSG outsmarted them. After RSG’s defeat from RRQ yesterday, RSG managed to learn a lot of things (better drafting/ban, positioning etc.) and has adjusted so well. RRQ were not as prepares as RSG on this matchup.
