The shoutcalls by both players MUST have a difference. Maybe Butts shoutcalls are more receiveable by the entire team we don't know, but I know for sure Butts has that X Factor in the entire Onic lineup. Sadly one bad game changed everything about him and everyone calls him a mid tier explaner which is not true. They won MSC because of him.
This patch is suitable for butss as the current meta needs a sacrificial exp laner /tanky exp laner to give space for hyper which is what butss good at doing. Previously he was under performing because he is playing tanky exp even tho hyper is tank that's why they lacked dmg during teamfights.
Id is struggling in this meta tbh. What is interesting is that this same exact meta of bursting and aggression is actually very honor of kings like. Ill bet china and other region like vietnam and cambodia will find this meta very familiar and theyll probably do very good in international tourneys if the meta dont change. The HOK 131 strat involves the midlaner, the roam and the jg rotating to enemy camps to deny the enemy jg that would lead to three enemy lanes collapsing. Pretty similar to mlbb at this point, but the difference is is the midlaner doing the vanguard while the jg will do the cleanup and the roam will provide the necessary cc and vision. The midlaner in this strat almost always leave their lane and rotating to enemy lane doing ganking, some strat let their midlane open straight up while collapsing enemy jg thus resulting in more midlane gold for bounty and enemy jg behind gold. In HOK if jg can't gank, can't take overlord or the other primordial monster for buff the game is essentially loss. HOK is very gold dependent so much so that even tanks can burst anyone with tank items no problem if they are a 1000 gold ahead.

In this HOK strat mid essentially plays the roamer and jg gank role, jg is for cleanups and roam is essentially the fail safe mechanism to not die. This strat is essentially impossible to do before in mlbb without the introduction of sky piercer and emblem talents and other burst items plus hero adjustments. In HOK mages can kill at level 2, tanks can burst anyone and any other hero can burst just about anybody. Gold is everything in HOK, this is not the same with mlbb before the patch. But now, mlbb is starting to implement this very same mechanics and adjustments that's why it may be doable as strat now. If this happens and if further patch introduced spawning of both monsters at the same time (lord and turtle) and each monster giving Perma stats, plus three-way push of monster if slain then it'll be very much be like HOK. And china will undoubtedly be very comfy with that patch if that happened. (F them).

Ruby and Arlott roam did not work at all, especially Ruby roam as the only frontline. She doesn't have sustain if building tank items + tank emblem. Too squishy for early game and low base damage as well.

As much as I hate to say it, onic at this point really needs major changes to their strats as it isn't helping them out anymore. Lutpii is not performing as expectations, and it's not just their exp laner who has issues. The whole team needs to improve their macro, hence why Kiboy and even Kairi needs to improve. Sanz and cw are alright.
I agree with you, I feel like Kiboy needs to take a break to refresh, they need to have different strategies and I feel like Lutpii plays better with crowd CC players and needs lots of improvements, While Kairi also has to improve to macro and micro.

Kairi and Karl have always late in meta. I remember Karl in his last Bren season when he stuck to assassin emblem and assassin heroes when everyone has been using Jungle emblem and going tank/hybrid items while using sustain heroes. Kairi just made his assassin era a bit longer because Yeb drafts around Kairi's assassins. It still took a bit of time before he actually adapted to utility junglers. In this series, they're using heroes who are in the middle of the pack. Heroes who have a bit of damage, sustain and utility. This is a player break tournament so I don't think this will be their MPL forms.

As an Indonesian who supports Onic and other teams, I'm very sad to see Indonesian teams really underperformed like this. Indonesian Teams havent defeated ph teams yet, but Malay teams already Outperformed them. I hope the best for Onic and mpl ID.
Lutpi is the real weak link. The tank jungler meta gives exp a different role (damage dealer and gives tempo for the team) in which Lutpi shines. But with a shift of meta to assassin jungler, exp roles drifts to sustain and crown control which Lutpi hasn't adapted yet. Onic better switch Lutpi to Buts, as Buts is more good on sustain and crowd control (ie. Terizla, etc).
KarlTzy is definitely the GOAT jungle. Achievements, mechanics, longevity, swag, shotcalling and he even helps in drafting. Pheww is still my overall GOAT because he is quite ahead in terms of longevity and leadership compare to Karl.

Yes, it's aggression and finesse. That's why his highlights are mostly maniacs, savages and 1v1 kill outplays compared to others who only have escape highlights.
It's the calculation. If you use Julian you'll see how weird it is. It's like he makes decision between skills rather than spamming it fast. You can see how odd it feels each time he kills Kiboy and Lutpi, the tempo of his Julian Combo is so odd, when they Flicker/Dash there's an appropriate skill already waiting for them. You expect him to use the combo fasts but Karl bases the tempo of his combo to what his opponents do. That's always been Karl's strongest point, not flashy/fast plays.

His draft was always bad compared to other coaches but he got good players because of that he shined now that players are underperforming his draft are coming to light more and more. Sanz didn't watch his positioning and getting picked off often while Kiboy dying for no reason because he miscalculated the damage done by karltzy. Sanz position has been very bad and kiboy hasn't been making his outplays like in msc 2023. And wdym kairi is making the mistake. It's the calculation. If you use Julian you'll see how weird it is. It's like he makes decision between skills rather than spamming it fast. You can see how odd it feels each time he kills Kiboy and Lutpi, the tempo of his Julian Combo is so odd, when they Flicker/Dash there's an appropriate skill already waiting for them. You expect him to use the combo fasts but Karl bases the tempo of his combo to what his opponents do.
That's always been Karl's strongest point, not flashy/fast plays.
