You definitely could. It would require a flip switch to a 5 volt 1 amp power supply. Just be a matter of how would you keep the separate power supply charge, without a klusterfuk. Lol.
I was planning to use the Wireless board in a TE2+ with the Jasen's EZ Mod, so I better leave it with the UFB and use the Wireless board on other stick.
I do have a little bit of good news. After the firmware update for the wireless fight board, I can use L3 and R3 through the EZ board. Touchpad and Turbo for some reason still don't work. So if you don't need those, it would be okay to install Into the te2 Now. But I'm still having battery drain issues. If i dont charge it every two or three days the battery will be dead. So I completely understand not wanting to do it.
Do you know if the wireless board supports rgb buttons? I’ve seen a couple videos on how to do it, but in those cases it’s a usb board and they tap into the USB’s power. Do you know if that’s possible with this board at all? Thanks!
Thanks for the info! I was wondering where you got the wiring harness and LED for the player LED indicators. I'm loving my WFB so far but I'm uncertain on how/where to get the necessary items. Thanks!
So the wire harness I'm using came with the madcast ez mod board. From I believe jasen's Customs or arcade shock. The LEDs are just generic ones I got from Ebay that are two legs, positive and ground. If you can solder all you need is three wires and two LEDs and you would be set. I'll do a video on it soon. I'm waiting on a new camera and dealing with my computer recently dying. Lol
@@ForeverWinter1812 Awesome! I'm looking forward to it. Having an indicator would be super useful to know if it's on or not. I already have a lockout switch I've been using for now to help prevent it from turning on, but I would love to have a visible indication rather than assuming my stick is still on or not lol.
@@albertvaleros1266 yeah a LED and lockout switch is super helpful. What arcade stick are you using or is it a custom? Cuz it might be a lot easier for you depending on what you have.
@@ForeverWinter1812 I have a custom AFS. So basically just working off of a Brook WFB on its own. Got everything hooked up and working. Just want to add the nice quality of life feature now haha
So do the player LED indicator lights work on wireless mode? Or is it like the 5V connection that works only in wired? I've been thinking about getting one of these to replace my regular Brook PS4+ board, but I've been hearing of people having some issues with it and not enough info from Brook themselves.
The prayer LEDs do work in Wireless mode. Which is very important because that's how you know when the boards on. I have to say other than a few compatibility issues I really do love this board. And I think it's a better choice than then Universal board. I'm going to do a follow-up showing how to use the board.

@@ForeverWinter1812 I understand, but it doesn't charge for me, it only discharges, I already tried 3 different batteries. What firmware are you using and what mode do you put the board in?
I wonder if you could mount something small to power the led lights separately.

Forever Winter if I were to install a switch that disconnects the battery from the WFB would it lose the saved connections every time?

Technically is possible. But you have to be wired to something USB to provide the power.

Thanks for posting. Could barely hear you tho
Thank you. And I'm sorry to hear that.
I see you swapped for a REAL dpad in place of those God forsaken 4 directional buttons
Yeah it's amazing what you can do to a original Joy con with a nail file. Lol.

The battery charges on any USB. You can use a console a computer or even a wall charger.

Neutrik is pronounced "noy-trick".
Bro. It don’t turn on wirelessly cuz it don’t have battery.
If you're talking about the Mad Catz te2, the battery is installed underneath the wireless fight bord.
