KentL I traveled from Martinsburg, WV to Shady Grove. Then took the metro into Smithsonian. It took about 45 minutes to catch a train outbound but it was completely worth it. I enjoyed being able to sit at Lincoln monument and see the fireworks in the reflection pool with Washington monument and Capitol Building in background. Go for it and enjoy the day.

Can you share how difficult it was to get home after the show? Wondering if taking the train (to Reston) would be possible.
