- For some bizarre reason I sold my perfectly good 2022 car and bout a 5 year old Tesla Model S P100D. Is it an inspired decision or one of the most stupid car changes I've ever made? Time will tell..
The car was bought from RSEV who can be found on www.rsymons.co.uk
their RUclips channel - well worth a watch if you are considering an electric car - is @RSEV
If you want to buy a new Tesla, drop me a line at wolfieofbaildon@yahoo.com and I'll share my referral code. Not sure what that would get us both, they change their referral scheme more often than I change cars...
Don't park it near your house in case it explodes. Good luck.
🤣🤣Luckily I have the fire brigade on speed dial

Good Afternoon Sir. What a Gorgeous vehicle you have purchased. I must say one of the most Beautiful Teslas i have seen so far. Great performance, very Good condition for it's age, very good miles on it, i really Love the Gun Metal Grey Metalic finish on it. You have made a Good choice when you saw this fine example of a Tesla Model S. Hope you Enjoy many, many journey's and trips in it. I am very Impressed with your Purchase Sir. ☺☺👍
Thanks for watching and your kind comments - much appreciated especially in view of a degree of negativity in other comments…👍🏻
You are always Welcome my Friend. 😃😃👍👍👍@@WolfiesWheels
Hope you enjoy it
Model S owner here I love your P100D. You’ll never get 0-60 2.3 most of the time you’ll get 3 seconds at best. And you’ll never get 400 miles from that battery maybe 300 if you drive really gently. Really nice car full of insane features. I have the p90DL and sort of wished I waited a year to get a p100D for the same money. Love mine still. Not sure why so many people are hating on your car. Easy to drive loads of comfort features there’s nothing to complain about. Tesla supercharger network is so good! Welcome to the club 😂🤝👍🏻
Thanks for watching and comments. I agree that I am unlikely to see 2.3 seconds, but V quick anyway! My guesstimate on range for me is around 270 to 300, managed to get 3 miles per kWh today on a longish run - but about half that yesterday on a 1.5 mile trip to the station. Glad you’re loving your p90DL, I guess haters are going to hate irrespective of how good things are.
Niceone mate thankyou for the reply. I will hopefully see you at a tesla owners event some day! Your car will be fun around the track, well especially on the straights!!@@WolfiesWheels
Great car I believe. Super amount of torque and a lot safer fire-wise than the ICEs according to the stats. Enjoy!
Thanks, really enjoying it so far. 😀
It's a great car to say you have owned. Enjoy.
I’m coming up to 4 years with my MS Performance and don’t regret a minute of it, mine came with free Supercharging and a whopping discount as everyone was clambering after the M3 which had just come out. Ignore the negative remarks, they come with owning any nice car. BTW also own a Morgan and an Autotrail camper, we have a lot in common! 👍
We certainly seem to! Even though I no longer have the Morgan…(4 flatbed recoveries in 2,800 miles all for the same problem had taken the shine off the experience and I’d lost all faith in it. So it had to go..)
hope you have told your house insurance company about this old milk float,if it goes up in smoke they might not pay out.
Even worse. There’s two EVs in the area😱
Nice video and lovely car. We've had a Model Y, our first EV, for 15 months and 15k miles and love it. It is especially good on long journeys which seems to be counter-intuitive for those without EV experience. I look forward to future videos.
Thanks for watching and kind comment. This is EV number 4, started with a Zoe to dip our toe in the water. Then a 3 LR which we changed to a YLR which is more practical. Don’t see myself going back to ICE car other than classics..
Nice review but my god that depreciation, the previous owner could obviously afford to drop 100k.
Yes, it’s eye watering. I understand the first buyer was a guy who had his own business and bought it through that, so to him maybe there’s tax off sets etc. the next owner was the first individual, he just bought it off the company. So two owners but one really….I also think that in 2018 if I was wanting to buy a car at that price, I’d have bought something else. It is hard to see the price reflected in the build…
@@WolfiesWheels like Alfa Romeo, you pay for the battery (engine in Alfas case) and they give you the rest of the car free.
Great move super safe place to be, and it’s still a great looking car ageless in my way of thinking, the Audi rs7 shape is one of my favourites , and the mod s is very close to it so 👍👏👏👏👏enjoy .
I agree it’s a very good looking car that seems to defy being basically a 2012 design (nose cone excepted). Seems to disguise its size well on the road but kind of grows when you park in a UK sized parking bay!
Very nice Tesla. Would be interesting to know what you insurance cost our and if it now effects you home insurance. Only asking as I know someone with a EV who had his home insurance increased because he charges his EV at home. With that increase and his car insurance increase this year. His has decided after the 3 year PCP is up, to go back to ICE.
From a quick trawl of insurance websites I haven’t found a single one that loads premiums due to charging the car at home. So I think your so called mate is just anti EV despite owning one. Re insurance for the car itself, I’ve paid more in the past for performance ICE cars (slower than the S and only 2 seats) so have no problem with the cost of cover.
@@WolfiesWheelsYes he is a mate. I know it’s a cliche or usual code for me etc. He actual is a friend and I haven’t personally looked at comparison websites myself yet as I don’t own a EV yet. I did challenge him on increase of his car insurance as everyone’s has increased this year. On the home insurance I didn’t. May look into this myself, ready for next time we talk about EV’s.
I have had the pleasure of driving a few, due to my job role and I would happily buy one in the future. Just patiently waiting for them to come down in price a bit and for the public network to improve. As I can’t charge at home.
🤣 yes the “ my mate code”. 🤣
Insurance for all cars is a bit of a mare at the moment, maybe it’s coincided with a lot more people having an EV and linking the two together - whereas maybe their old car would have also cost a lot more to insure. Re the home charging bit, much as I love EVs I don’t think I’d have one if I couldn’t home charge. Public charging is expensive ( albeit Tesla superchargers are far cheaper than open market public chargers) and to get the best out of the experience home charging (especially on an EV tariff) is a game changer. 👍🏻
@@WolfiesWheelsin an ideal world, if / when I buy a EV. I would have a house with a drive way, solar panels and with a battery storage unit to make it a cheap as possible to run. But unfortunately I live in a terrace house. So it’s not an option at the moment. One day….
new tyres every few months ?
🤣🤣
I'm liking at the same care here, new one has 396 miles range? Is this a new version I am looking at?
My version is a late 2018 car. After that they did some tweaks into what is commonly known as the Raven edition, which I think came as Performance and Long Range only. This had some interior changes and cars came with adaptive air suspension and probably some other changes too. Then the very current version was released in some markets, coming to the UK in 2023 but in left hand drive only. Hope this helps!
Dumb Move 😂
Let's see how long this experience lasts!
Thanks for watching and expressing your opinion.
@@WolfiesWheels It's only in jest my freind. We're all very interested in those partaking in the EV experience. I look forward to your updates Wolfie. Thank you.
Thanks, you never can tell these days 😃
Glad i havent
Fair enough. Thanks for the watch and comment, you’ve helped the algorithms anyway

its just not a good looking car. its awful. not saying it doesnt work well but it looks incredibly boring
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder… 👍🏻 And as my good friend said “if we all liked the same thing you’d only get vanilla ice cream and not chocolate too” 🤣
i agree but that looks crap. its boring and looks plasticy is the only way i can describe it. looks like a posh kettle or something

I think what you mean is “ in my opinion”…and then what you wrote)…as opposed to your viewpoint being stated as fact. Which it isn’t. So we will just agree to disagree.
