I was running a Checkpoint SL5 with Specialized Pathfinder Pro 42s on Zipp303s carbon wheels. Crooked Gravel is a terrific event and I think you'll enjoy it! There are some rough sections, so just take the descents slow if you are still developing your handling skills. Bring some plugs and extra co2 - I didn't have a flat, but there are some rocky sections. That big climb is a doozy, save something for that. Last year it was hot and people ran out of water on that climb, make sure you've got water and an extra gel to get you to the top! You'll do great!

Hi what kind of bike did you use/what sort of tires? I'm riding Crooked Gravel as my first gravel ride this year and am a little nervous
