Nice video but may I suggest using a 12/1000s feeler gauge under the spike to get the exact height. Also before drilling the hole I make a slight dent where I want to drill with a finishing nail or something sharp and line that mark up with the fifth string still on, that way all the spikes line up exactly with the string, not just eye balling it. Love. Your video and especially how you correctly drill the holes at an angle.

Nice and easy, thank you. All the guy's videos give instructions like you're about to build a new particle accelerator.

what size drill do you use, and how deep do you drill the hole. Longer than the spike, the same depth as the spike is long. Or just half the depth. and what do you do should the drill break in the wood
