as a 2020 288 owner with driven 7300 bay and off shore miles this boat would be so much better with a steeper dead rise. Stiffen the haul a little more too then this will be an awesome boat. Layout is perfect
Hey Curtis! Thanks for the feedback. The layup schedule on the fiberglass for the 2023 and 2024 Model year boats is slightly thicker than it was in prior years. That, paired with the rear braces on the T-Top that are new for 2024 make this boat feel quite a bit stiffer than prior model years. This boat is pretty wide compared to some of major players, in the 28 ft category. The trade off is stability, especially in an offshore bottom fishing scenario. We will be do some Sea Trial events, if you are ever in the area, come by and take one out with us to see if you can feel the difference, we'd love to hear your feedback.
@@avalanchemotorsportsI now have 8,000 miles on the haul. If seafox can also stiffen the gunwales as well as the haul and a 21 degree deadrise. Thats a good idea and i might take you up on that offer.
