Rare Nest Found | Also Yellowhammer & Goldfinch | Nest Finding & Monitoring 2024 Episode 14

This episode we find the nest of a very rare breeding bird in my area - Yellow Wagtail.
Also, a recheck on the Goldfinch from last week, and we find another Yellowhammer nest with eggs.
All nest data submitted to the British Trust of Ornithology Nest Record Scheme.

Up our way they are putting perimeter fences round ringed plovers on west coast u will have to do that with the wagtail brilliant find pal

We have lots of goldfinches on my feeders and lots of young greypates. Also this year the greenfinches have done really well up to 4 nests of young coming judging by adults present. Robins up Dunnocks up and house sparrows and last week have at least 3 pairs of chaffinch visiting with young.
