Many news outlets seem to only focus on the most violent parts of a protest. If something is on fire or if glass is shattered then the cameras quickly zoom in.
But anyone who is actually here in Colombia can clearly see that the vast majority of demonstrators across the country are peaceful! They are families, students, workers, and community organizers all using their voice to demand change.
I wanted to highlight these peaceful protests, and elevate their message!
