Amy, your porch turned out beautiful!! You sure have a decorators eye 😊. I personally would keep the storm door. We removed ours for a couple of years but have since bought a new one. It really helps to keep the cold and heat out, and let’s a lot of light in as well. Your storm door does not look outdated at all. I bet your fur babies would really miss laying and looking out it as well lol

It looks great! I’d keep the storm door. I hang my wreath or basket from the storm door. I like to open my front door and let my dogs sit in the sunshine that comes in through the storm door. They love it!

Wow, such a beautiful makeover. While I like the look of a front door without a storm door, it’s not practical for us. In the winter it helps keep the winds at bay, and in the spring & summer I keep our front door open all the time. It would feel strange to me now not being able to do that. I also like having the added protection of another door to lock, to help make it harder for someone to break in. I have a storm door on our back door too and so all 4 doors are locked tight at night! Your daughter is a sweetie!

Love the style of the teak furniture you have chosen. Decorating with black and white is perfect to transition into the different seasons. I like storm doors. Not just for more protection from storms, but more security. You can have storm door locked so even when front door is open, if someone walks up; you can see. Let’s more light in too of course,

Good morning Amy, your front porch looks like something straight out of a magazine.. you did a terrific job. We have a storm door, and I absolutely love it. Our front door faces the west, and in the winter months it let's in warm sunlight, and in the summer it let's in a cool breeze without letting in any bugs.

I love all the new furniture. All the touches you added are so perfect. I could spend many hours on your porch just relaxing with a cold drink. I would personally keep the storm door. I don't have one but would love to have one. It's like a little extra security plus being able to open the door when someone rings the doorbell and having the storm door between you and the person is a bonus. Moved away from my home state of WV 44 years ago. I have not been home for 2 years. My daughter Amy just turned 42 I am a Retired RN and worked in my home town as an RN at United Hospital Center . In my home town area of Clarksburg / Bridgeport WV . Your front porch looks very nice.

We love our storm door because we can open the slide-down-window easily, and let sun and air into the house, without all the little critters coming in too! And when cooking this comes in handy. You can hang wreaths from the storm door instead, to complete the look 😊

I love my storm door too!!! I usually use the suction cup hangers and do all of my decorating on the outside of our storm door!!!

The front door screen is great to add extra light into your home and the dogs enjoy looking outside, in my opinion I love having a screen door as a buffer when opening the door. We love our storm door because we can open the slide-down-window easily, and let sun and air into the house, without all the little critters coming in too! And when cooking this comes in handy. You can hang wreaths from the storm door instead, to complete the look 😊
