man i love this show. unlike pawn stars, this is all real . and i think the guy has an amazing attitude. our local pawn shops basically follow a formula and they dont even entertain the idea of going outside that. plus when i buy from them they never give a deal. even a dollar off on a 100 dollar item. i use to hunt for stuff through thrift shops and sell it dirt cheap . i can tell me and this buddy would have been great friends lol.

Our home is set up to be decorated and have the look of the late 1930s to the late 1940s era. The only modern things are the computer, major appliances, and the TV system. The kitchen and bathrooms are set to look like the 1940s style. I learn a lot about different things by watching your videos.
that's a good sign when your out of a job. never hurts to ask as many jobs aren't in the newspaper, on line or at the unemployment office. that worked for me when i was young back in the 1970's.

i resell neon flashing lights, from a auction my dad won. a store went bankrupt called spencers in portland oregon. i got 327 of them. they say Bar and a beer mug and open or closed. Real Neon tubes. i usually get 25 dollars each on craigslist. also got Jack danials red neon, and yellow wine glass flashing neon one too. also a bunch of brand new, old fashion satalitte phones from bankrupt radio shack they kinda look cool

Back in the day circuit city use to restaple boxes and reshrink wrap items that they knew they could pass off as still being new. I know because that was one of my first jobs when I was 16
i hear ebay no longer allows chinese sellers to fake living in the u.s. or canada. but it seems they still bend over for buyers. another rule is to never send to nigeria. seller websites ban nigerian IPs altogether

But to me it’s more than that, it’s like inside the making of a real show.. showing the work life of just a man in a shop, interactions with people, some odd, some bad, mostly good.. it’s awesome. We get to see what you’re doing for a few minutes of your day... and even as just a regular joe in a buy/trade shop these type of real life things that you just don’t get from regular visual entertainment. I am always looking for an opportunity to either a: get a good deal on something second hand I need or B: get a good deal on something so that I can sell it make some money. This has been the story of our life and buying and selling has been a way to make most of what we have possession wise possible.

I'm watching the Sell on Amazon Commercials. I tried that once. Between the Amazon Fees. And Undercharging for Shipping, I made next to nothing. My mother gave me a Hess trucks at Christmas. She passed away in April 08. I sold one on Amazon for roughly $20 with Shipping. Amazon Charged $7.95 to ship from NJ to WA. Cost me about $11. And the Fees. Made $2-3.

I used to do instrument repair, but unless it's a high end item, the parts are worth more as parts than a completed instrument. I guess you'd say I'm a part time seller that does it full time. Since I sell mostly vintage items, I'm always on the hunt. I normally average only a thousand dollars in sales per month, so that's part time money. I'm old, retired, so it helps out, and I have the time. If I was still working a full time job, it wouldn't be so great, but I enjoy the hunt, even the cleaning and or repairing, but not so much the selling aspect.
The anti theft device for the Ford Model T should be painted red, It seems someone cleaned it up. In fact the one you have looks a little more "Beefer" than the ones I have seen over many years at Swap meets and Car shows. Hope it helps. Glad you did not get a brick LOL

Those times USA was an idyllic dream for me, where everybody can afford a jeans, a car. Now l can afford a jeans and a car. And it is a shaking lesson to see everyday life there in 2019.

There’d still be two layers of tape, honestly it’s probably better if they cut the staples and try to push it out after separating the flaps instead of forcing it out as they’ve done if the staples weren’t originals
