My Wife and I were just baptized again..
She was baptized in Jesus' name as a small child but as an adult she felt she needed to be baptized again.
I was baptized in my teens but in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It's bothered me for years since I have never been a trinitarian. So being baptized in the name of Jesus was a must.
So happy we came across this video.

Here's what I find completely bewildering about Trinitarian baptisms.
Colossians 3:17 says "And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." In 99.99% of all situations, Trinitarians obey this verse. They pray in the name of Jesus, they rebuke demonic forces in the name of Jesus, etc. But when it comes to water baptism, they'd rather do it in titles, assuming that the words of Jesus in Matthew 28:19 were meant as a verbal formula. Even more bewildering is the fact that even if you look at Colossians 3:17 from a Trinitarian POV, one should still be performing water baptisms in the name of Jesus, not in the titles of God.

I would love to see Dr Bernard explain away John 6 - that problematic passage where one is instructed to eat His flesh and drink His blood - the Holy Eucharist.
But quickly adding to your bewilderment - we are also sealed with the Holy Spirit and we take on the name of our patron saint too who journeys with us. Holy Cuthbert, Wonderworker of Lindisfarne, is my patron saint.

@DavidKBernardUPCI thank you for this! I have a question regarding a person who has left the Apostolic Church to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He's a very good friend of mine who met a gal who attended the LDS church. He met with the missionaries, at her request, and was baptized using their Trinitarian formula. Their understanding of God is totally different from that of a "normal" Trinitarian church. Long story short, after his "baptism" he realized he made a mistake. He is no longer seeing the gal, has repented of and renounced his conversion to the LDS church, and wants to return to the Oneness Apostolic church. In a case such as this, should he be re-baptized in Jesus's Name? He believes his repentance and renunciation is sufficient and he doesn't need to be re-baptized. I disagree. May I ask how you would respond to him? Thank you, and God bless you!

Yes, because you need to be baptized in the name of God. God, has a name from beginning of time, he toldmoses in ex 3:14-16. It is YHWH. He said it’s FOREVER and there’s only salvation in His name and he mentioned salvation in his name multiple times in the Old Testament and in the new. YHWH was taken out and replaced with LORD in capital letters, or the Lord in the New Testament. We must get back to His only name, because I had one. We have to realize we were actually speaking two, instead of one as a prior pentecostal apostolic I know this now.

It's dangerous to think if you backslid get rebaptized for conscience sake. As humans we will by nature slip up here and there. If your train of thought remains in this dangerous process you'll end getting rebaptized everyday over and over and over again and again. Water baptism is making an outward statement on what's taking place in the heart. Jesus went to the cross and shed his blood to forever take away the sins of the world. Now that a person has been baptized they can NOW come before the throne of grace and seek his forgiveness. He is just and faithful to forgive. Therefore, rebaptized is not necessary. We need to identify with death (repent) burial (💧 water baptism) and resurrection (Holy Spirit filled) In this fashion you have everything you need to walk a consecrated life. Also study the word, purchase some biblical based materials from trusted ministers such as Mr. David K Bernard and join a local church and a friendship group within your local church.

There are no “Baptismal formulas” in Acts. There are no actual recordings of Baptisms where the Baptizer and candidate are in water and first person account of, “ I baptize you in the Name of …”. Acts has historical narrative after the fact letting us know they received Christian Baptism. There is somebody outside the water standing like let's say outside the tank or if they're doing it in a body of water they don't want to Shoreline and that person is not the one touching them but they're the ones saying or speaking from a microphone that we know baptize you in the name . Is it valid that the person that is not touching them and he's the one Speaking that the person will be saved or does the person in the tank or in the body of water has to be the one that's touching them and saying we not baptize you in the name

Firstly, it seems your approach here is Roman, in that you are being juridical - and trying to find a legal argument … secondly, I need to ask - how does this pertain to your salvation? The rite of baptism is to be performed by a priest, and not a member of the laity. Even in the context of Protestantism - this is generally the case… where a minister performs the baptism. Absolutely, baptism is witnessed by the Church, and in Orthodoxy, we agree in the sealing of the Holy Spirit together. But it is all submitted beneath the priestly ministry ordained by God, through His Son and by the Holy Spirit.
In reading your other comments to this post, I see you denying the name of Christ God - as being his name. As I already stated in a comment to you elsewhere, you got a lot of rewriting to do to take out the majestic name of Jesus Christ, whom I call LORD and my GOD - unto the glory of God the Father. Because Yahweh called me and gave me to His dear Son.
YHWH Elohim, devar YHWH, Ruach YHWH, And Chokhmah …. the Ancient of Days sent us the Son of Man … in His name…. Wisdom.
Trust you are well. Lovingly, Cuthbert.

Baptism doesn't save. Believe on Jesus. It is His blood alone that saves us. Our faith in the sacrifice of the Son of God Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He is our Saviour alone. He needs not for us to assist him by any work including baptism in order for us to be born again into the kingdom of heaven. What grace! What assurance of our souls saved by a loving God who showed us His love by pouring out His own blood on the cross for us. Rest easy brothers. Faith in Jesus saves.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

There is nothing we can do to save ourselves. We are guilty but after we have placed our trust in Jesus we are saved, redeemed and washed in the blood. There is nothing we can do to add to this and nothing any man or being can do to take away from it.
It is such a beauty found in the gospel, such peace that we have assurance in Jesus alone.
The Bible does NOT teach that baptism saves. It teaches that Jesus Christ saves. What a beautiful gift we have been offered. All we can do is trust in Jesus. What relief!!!!

@@Elias_Eliyahu God has a name. We believe in ONE so he never changed His name.
He told us His name in exodus 3:14-16. As oneness believers we truly need to understand He doesn’t have a different name.
He is YHWH. Forever to ALL generations. And when He came and died for our sins He came IN HiS own name. John 5:43

@@KG-hi1es the apostles did baptize in Jesus's name so, let's first start with that the name that was given to Moses really means "I AM" is a verb in the Hebrew language... With that in claim, you just have to know that Jesus Christ said: "Before Abraham was I Am". Get back on track.
I haven't been filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost yet, I have been praying to receive that gift... Thanks you

That is a very good point ... Acts 10:43 says all prophets witness tgen Name that gives us remissions of sins ... no prophets ever said it was yehushua or a Jesus name 😮... John 5:43 says He cane in tge Fathers name? ... that would be YHWH not Yeshua...

You must be born of the water, and the spirit means the natural birth and spiritual birth, not water baptism. In natural birth are indeed born or water. Notice the next verse says, "That which is FLESH is FLESH and that which is Spirit is Spirit, you must be born again." The flesh is the natural birth. John 3:4,5
John indeed baptized with water unto repentance, but Jesus said he would baptize us with the HOLYGHOST. Acts 1:5
Baptism of the Holyghost happens at conversion, which happens when one wholeheartedly believe and sold out for Christ and continue in a life with Christ thereafter until he comes for his Bride the church, not when baptized in water. There is only 1 baptism.

Why do you use a meaning of a name for salvation? And not the actual Name of God as Yahwah hamashiach,?
Like if I send you $1,000 check will you on Sunday morning stand up and give a praise report and say you want to give thanks to John and ask everybody let's praise John and give him all the glory and all the praise because well we're going by a meaning of the name and since John means Yahwah is a gracious Giver We Want To Praise John and give him so much thanks for his offering..... so are we really going by meaning of names now especially when it comes to salvation?

Moses can take you to the promised land, but you need a Joshua to cross over… and with that - what does the name Joshua mean? YWHW means what? If you say, I AM - you are correct. In the Gospel of John, we see God - written in Greek as the ego eimni… I AM. We see the name of Jesus the Christ / which means ‘YWHW Saves the Anointed One’… Christ God is Fully God and Fully Man… but the angel of the Lord told the Theotokos to call him JESUS - because he will save his people from their sins.
I use the name of Christ God sparingly - and the Ancient Jews would not utter the name of YWHW …. And because of Christ God, we can dare to call upon the LORD GOD as ‘Father’…. Which was preposterous and foreign to ancient Judaism.
To ignore the manifested name - Jesus Christ - in the NT - you’re gonna have to rewrite all the books. Because, that name is glorious and is stated throughout. Lovingly, Cuthbert.

[21] The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And behold, I send the promise f my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem until ye be endued with power from on high. You see, repentance and remission of sins in His name.
