As a pastor, I was a late comer to the show, having heard so much about all the “sinning” as Oprah terms it. When I finally watched it, oh my word. Couldn’t stay away!
Well to my own opinion, I think Jacob didn’t only considered the cheating but there are more to their story. Jacob didn’t really love the lady, she has sharp tongue 👅 who believes that she has to won in any argument especially with her mother in law , she also pushes Jacob to many things that later backfire because she always look out for any opportunity that can benefit her ,which are very obvious. Like buying house , wanted to become First Lady of any big mega church. Her personal gain motive are very cleared when she was asking for their mansion paper, her father in law will, I mean she gone too far.

You have promiscuous people who get no diseases and a person (like her) who makes one mistake and is taken down. Getting an STI isn't a multiple step process. It only takes one time. Having more partners ups the stakes sure, but there is so much more to play
Kerissa was a young lady that wanted to marry into a well off Christian family. She saw an opportunity with Jacob and x ran with it. She was chasing wealth s and clout, as he was a chasing skirts and finding himself. Toxic marriage...then, throw in kids...🔥 I was done with Kerissa when she camex with the will. I was done with Jacob when he kissed Spanks wife.
I just want to know how the whole thing was planned. Daryl was the son of Loretta. How did Mac find out? Did he see the will and then had his dad burn the church on purpose? Did he have plans to burn the church down because he planned to get loretta to make a new will in the first place? Does Daryl's dad matter? I don't think the Bishop was privy to everything initially though through his own admission he had a suspension he ignored. WAS THE ROBBERY BOTCHED? It happened after the fired. Was it pre-planned? So many questions.
I am so so happy of only looking for such material after fully watching the series! This video is awesome but impregnated with spoilers throughout all seasons. I really love all the acting on in this movie. The twist and turns was very exciting,we never knew what was going to happen, Oprah you did a good job, can’t wait for more thanks 😊
Gods sake, what a noisy religious drama. I couldn't get through the noise of it and I'm agnostic. Let's be clear -- does it matter if you believe in God or not? Or do you just do what is right to others by minding your own damn business or helping people when you can? Does it matter what benefits you get in heaven for what you do or don't do? Are we being selfish here? Stop with the pretences.... please! Let's be honest. I don't want to do people injustice because it's wrong and it makes me feel bad. That's honesty. We have a conscience. It's wired in us. If it's not wired right, we are psychopaths. That's where things break down. Love each other, not God. Love each other, not God. Love each other, not God.
