I'd say that is a big step up tbh If you want to save get 6 it's excellent but if can afford the 7 then get it as yes definitely the processor is faster exactly right the maps load faster and more responsive for sure Thank you for asking

Where I live, the 7X is nearly $1500 Cnd with taxes. I can get a used 5X in mint condition for about $250. Yes there are differences, but I'll argue the 5X is still an amazing watch, especially if it's your first dip into the world of smart / sports watches. I currently have an Apple Watch series 5. I love how flashy the screen is with the OLED panel, but I'm more and more missing having a Fenix in my life. I'm tempted to get a 7X, but again, not sure I will appreciate the features for an extra $1250. That's an astronomical amount of money for someone like me.
I have the 6x and my wife the 7s and I do agree the the 7 is better due to touch screen and additional information or updated information which has been added to the 7. Am I happy with the 6? Definately yes but if the difference is not much go for the 7.
If someone has the coin and is starting the garmin journey definitely jump on 7 absolutely. If you have the six or can only cough up enough for 6 then absolutely do that it's a very capable watch and still supported by garmin
I think i know the answer here, but i can get an "allegedly" mint, mint condition 6x for 125 quid. Is this a better buy over the newer but slightly more expensive lower end forerunner watches??
Is Garmin 7x is faster then 6x when loading the maps during activity and in some other cases ? Is the processor the same or it's faster?

Ok let me start I don't know those but I'd imagine so tbe fenix 6x is STILL a great watch and does a lot the 7X does. Sounds a steal .
