If they were to ban guns, how can anyone honestly think that'll keep them out of criminal hands, when they can't even keep banned drugs out of the jails and prisons? All they can do is slow it down. At least guns give law abiding folks a fighting chance if they want it.

I've been in and out of jail and IDOC I literally can't believe this is actually controversial what did you people think we were doing 🤯 I've received her birthday cards dipped in PCP lbvs 🤣🤣 it's either that or over the gate through yard time, very rarely you get a guard that's willing to bring it in for some money but even then you still have to use older sealing devices and other special containers hidden like coffee mugs or packs of cigarettes (unopened) because even the officers get checked on their way in

Many prisons allow a certain amount of drug use to keep the inmates somewhat sedated and content. I'm sure jails do the same. Honestly, it's like smoking use to be, and again it helped control inmates. Let's open the dispensaries in some prisons.
Why is America so outdated with everything when we have the technology. They want to read mail and cards? Anything thats a piece of paper, scan as a PDF and reprint it for them to read. You'd spend less time doing that than attempting to open envelopes all day that you ultimately toss out anyways.
