Ingredients
1/2 cup Almond Flour
2 tbsp lupin flour
1 tsp xanthan gum
3 small-sized room temperature egg yolk

Notes:
1. It's a 3 ingredients pasta as mentioned in the video, you can make this pasta using only almond flour or lupin flour which makes it 3 ingredients pasta recipe.
2. In my video I have added 3 egg yolks from small-sized room temperature eggs hence adjust the consistency accordingly. ( If you using medium or large-sized eggs then it's advisable to use only 2 egg yolks.)
3. It's really important to roll out your pasta really thin because it will increase in size a bit once you boil them and please ensure not to boil them much to retain its texture.
4. If you want to freeze this pasta after cutting them into strands you can allow them to dry out overnight & after that, you can freeze them in a zip lock bag, and before using them thaw them in the refrigerator then follow the procedure shown in the video.

I also added a few drops of water so it was not crumbling any more and it worked.
Try laying a damp towel between the counter and the mat, the mat won't slide all around when you roll it out.

Hello from Iowa! When you are measuring you need to level your ingredients in your measuring cup and also in your measuring spoons. You didn’t get a true measurement on your dry ingredients. Take a butter knife and level your ingredients for both measuring cups and measuring spoons. You will want the flat side of the butter knife to scrape off the extra flour. Your measuring cup wasn’t even full though. How many carbohydrates are in the Lupin Flour?

Just gave this ago, was harder than it looked! It crumbled in my hands and the so called dough was very oily in my hand! Not sure what went wrong 🤷♀️
That is a really good recipe. It's near on real pasta. Can I add salt to the dough? Really good english. Good to understand for german people.

sounds great, I can get Xanthin Gum and Psyllium Husk, Almond Flour, locally etc, but What the hell is Lupin Flour? Don't have Lupin Flour at the local Grocery store and so I'm not interested in this recipe at all! I luv pasta!

Hi Gunjan. I had a problem doing the pasta. I used a food processor and the dough was crumbly. I double the recipe and used 4 egg yolks (large egg). Why is it crumbly? Do i need more egg yolk or less egg yolk? Thanks
I guess more egg but after using your food processor you still need to knead the dough until it becomes as shown In video ..
So as per my understanding you added 1 cup of flour with 4 egg yolk , add 1 more yolk and see don’t add more .. after that try kneading with hand it will definitely come together .. I am sure of it .. let me know

Coconut flour will give you a very gritty texture instead of a fine one

Made it without lupin flour , when boiled it all broke up
So Lupin flour seems to be a must for a successful "pasta" 🍝

Well I just tried it without.. it was so crumbly I couldn't get it to form a dough without adding another egg. The final result tastes like a lump of ferina, which I've missed so I'll keep that in mind when I have that craving but not what we were going for here.
@@yukiochan1 yes this doesn’t exactly like real pasta .. so does the keto bread but these are some keto alternatives as an option

@@KETOlicious not your fault. Just tried to make it in my pasta maker, and took 2 hours to finish. Then was bad. My Almond mill is a few months old. Maybe this is why. Idk how long it lasts. Plus maybe I used the wrong amounts. May try again. Was really hoping for keto no carb pasta to help my blood sugar levels. Take care and thank you anyway.

@@KETOlicious sure will but I plan on doing a fast for a while, so probably be a month before I try it again. In the last year and c19 I got fat. So need to do the lemonade diet again. I have lost 50 to 60lbs every time I did it. Then I want to go back to eating better when I start back. Anyway take care
Lupin flour is a bit bitter, need to add a bit of keto sweetener to neutralize it.
Can you please clarify what type of almond flour you are using? "Almond flour" can mean anything from ground almonds which has a fairly high fat content to de-oiled finely ground white flour (with much less fat content). I assume using a different type of almond flour than the one you are using will drastically affect the end results. It really is frustrating looking at a low carb recipe using almond flour with no explanation what type of almond flour was used!
Apologies for next time I will keep it in mind what type of almond flour I am using .. I was using bob’s super fine blanched almond meal .. I hope this information is accurate 🙏

Calm down, I have been keto before 99% of the population even knew what it was, and I have never once seen it differentiated in a recipe. OP is doing a service with the recipe, now you do YOUR due diligence by using the appropriate flour without being a passive aggressive PITA.
For a “pasta” and as you could clearly see by the video it was a blanched fine mill ground almond, not almond meal.
